A committee of the CFR is not the same thing as Congress. If the CFR was half as powerful and influential as those who fear it claim, we'd have been under one-world government 35 years ago.
They come up with some wacky suggestions, but that's all they are.
It's what you call Lock-Step republicans, just as bad as lock-step democrats. It wouldn't matter if they are sending us to the edge of the abyss, they'd vote republican no matter what. I've lurked here for years, through Clinton and Bush. You could have smelled blood for every small thing clinton did, but when bush does things over and over again, not a peep. There are some very intelligent and smart thinkers on this board, and then you have a large number of scary people who can't think for themselves.
"Does anyone know how to get a current or very recent list of CFR members?"
I think you can get one by calling them and getting their annual report. They're pretty up front about their treason being "citizens of the world" and all that. I've had people right here on FR tell me that there is no CFR that it's just the invention of a bunch of tin-foil-hat nutbars.
"So did mine...When I read your post..."
LOL!
Unelected Kings of the US.
You mean like not enforcing the borders?
You think it's overused - the fact is it is happening at am alarming rate and it isn't even prosecuted.
Ping!
They express opinions, some good, some horrible.
They are far more balanced than the LA Times, for example.
Success out of Fear
"Today Americans would be outraged if U. N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government." - Henry Kissinger, in an address to the Bilderberg meeting at Evian, France, May 21, 1992.
Transcribed using a concealed tape recording made by one of the Swiss delegates. Henry Kissinger is an inner-circle member of the Bilderbergs, Council on Foreign Relations, and Trilateral Commission, and a long-time right-hand-man of David Rockefeller, who aspires to be the Czar of the Global Union. Only Rockefeller has attended more Bilderberg meetings than Kissinger.

. If you want to make people angry, lie to them. If you want to make them absolutely livid, then tell 'em the truth.
. "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it." - Mark Twain
One thing which bothers me is why some private organization wants to be devoted to foreign relations. That is one of the few things I think the Federal Government has the real power over.
Yesterday's conspiracy is today's news.
Today's conspiracy will be in the history books.
Thanks. Old list circa 1992. I need something more recent.

>>and then you have a large number of scary people who can't think for themselves.<<
Refusing to think for yourself is worse than not being able to think for yourself. Everyone is born ignorant, remaining ignorant requires continual effort.
