Mass Protest March, Tues. July 5th 6:00PM at New London, CT City Hall to support the Kelo eminent domain abuse victims and demand the New London City Council allow them to remain in their homes. If they can't remain in their homes, yours is next.
Watch this space for future announcements as the list of speakers is finalized. This is a national-level protest, with numerous state and national dignitaries being invited. Plan on arriving plenty early to guarantee access.
This will be a peaceful act of civil disobedience, and absolutely NO FIREARMS will be permitted. Stay calm, the homeowners are perhaps several months away from being dragged from their homes.

I'll see what I can do. I may not be able to get away from work for this one.
It's a thousand plus mile drive, one way, but I'm interested. Keep us posted.

What about bringing canned food to the residents so they can stay longer in their homes without having to venture outside
if I was up anywhere near the area, I would definitely be there. This SC decision is going to have multiple reverbrations through the years to come.
We are going to need eminent domain minute men.
Precisely, and Hannity too.

Excellent site. A little hard on the eyes with that black background, but worth reading. Especially the dish on Pfizer here:

Why should we care about Iraq, if we don't have homes to protect? If I can't have a home I don't care who gets it.
I would be willing to go, but I'd be looking to car-pool. Anyone going that would be heading through MT?
I would pay half the expenses.
There really does seem to be a pattern to judicially sponsored corruption, and I suspect that when you get a whack job like Justice Ginsburg looking things over she just naturally gravitates to the corrupt parties.
Her husband should probably have his morning coffee checked for dangerous ingredients. Her life is sounding more and more like the last two "wife poisons husband" cases on that cable channel that carries trials all the time.
If her husband had any sense, suicide would probably be the easiest way out for him. Poor guy.
I wish I could be there, I swear I wish I could be there.

CT is a wastehole, and this decision by the SCOTUS just follows the same marxist platform of BOTH parties.
FMCDH(BITS)
This was a misguided decision by SCOTUS.
They simply failed to use cost benefit analysis and only looked at the benefit.
Here the benefit is that investment yields commercial developement, jobs and the homeowners get market prices for their property so the is no cost in the narrow view.
Taking a broader view, because everyone's property can now be taken via emminent domain, everyone's property in the entire United States is now worth a little less.
That is the cost the SCOTUS failed to realize.
This is repeated again and again throughout govt. "if we only spent a little more on xyz program, we could get these benefits" They never tell you about the costs which are higher taxes which diminsh work incentive and reduce economic activity.
