Poor little liberals. This is the day they've feared for a long time.

I sure hope that this is going to be 'ominous' for them! Anything that makes them shake in their little booties is great with me!

Yeah. I might feel sorry for them if I weren't so busy laughing at them.

To a liberal... this is the equivalent of the Pope dying.

Didn't take long for the embracers of infant killing and their blood-industry supporters to start their shrill outbursts.

Buck Parker, executive director of the environmental group Earthjustice, said Friday's announcement "provides President Bush with an opportunity to select a new justice who will create a lasting legacy of strong environmental protections."

Obviously, that is not the job of the judiciary. More than any other quote in this piece, this makes absolutely clear that the left believes that the courts are there to "legislate" their agenda.

referring to her departure as creating "an ominous vacancy" that could lead to "terrible changes" on the U.S. Supreme Court.

What a bunch of drama queens the liberals are.

I love it that they're so nervous about this. I hope GWB toys with them for a while over this.

The sweet smell of liberal panic in the morning... Ahhhhhh no matter how this turns out its fun watching liberals wet their undies over a Supreme Court vacancy!

(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)

Better get a pair of welding goggles because the only way the Pres. is going to get a decent nominee through the Senate is the nuclear option.
The dims are setting it up now.

The only ominous vacancies are in the craniums of the 'Rats and their liberal/leftist accomplices in the media and in other special interest groups.

I just watched the insufferable Ellen Ratner on Fox and Friends go into "vapors" at the prospect of another Scalia or Thomas. She had the nerve to "advise" the president to nominate Joe Lieberman or George Mitchell.

Now let's see how long the vaunted McCain et al "compromise" holds up.

Craig Mitnick just said on FNC that the appointment of a SC Justice is more important the the election of the President.

I hope the dems have trouble sleeping because of this. It would be even better if they lost their appetites.

Hospitalization because of their fears.

Desperate politicians are great entertainment.

The frikkin Democrat "liberals" are bullys and brats making demands. Too bad the Republicians don't have the guts and grit to tell them off.

Does anyone believe the O'Connor's sudden retirement might have been prompted by the public outrage over the Supreme Court's recent Public Domain decision and the public's reactive movement to seize Souter's precious farmhouse and property?
