I am concerned that we're not educating people enough about what the Communists did. That's truly frightening.

Oh, but THOSE weren't REAL Communists!

THEY were Pol Potist-Deviationst Fellow Travelers; or, Stalinist-Deviationist Gulagists; or, Idi Amin-Deviantionist Murderists; or, Castroist Island Paradise-Deviationists; or, Impurist-Maoist Deviationists; or, Deviant Deviational Deviationists, or, just plain DEVIANTS.

"Just give US a REAL chance, and you'll see how WONDERFUL things can be under the (Nearly) Free Goodies For (Almost) Everyone party's plan!"

What. Total. Effin'. Dopes.

Look, there are less than 200 Communists in the Boston area. Cripes, we got more flat earthers and alien abductees than that.

The entire cadre sounds like a bunch of embittered trustifarians who've spent there entire lives avoiding honest work. If I had the money one of those snots' parents spent on a Tufts' "education" I could feed a village in Honduras for fifty years.

BTW, the owner of the Boston Phoenix is married to Maria Lopez, the judge who gave a who gave a cross-dresser who admitted to sodomizing a minor while holding a screwdriver to his throat a slap on the wrist. When the prosecuter objected she rudely and dismissively told him to "sit down". She said that the crime was "no big thing". Public pressure forced her from the bench. Even in Boston.

LOL! I love that! I'm quite sure she'd feel just that way.

I am one of those musically limited people who actually listen to all the words, Imagine is, awfully, a great paen to all the oversimplified ideas the left holds dear. I hate it, but Revolution and Tax Man (RIP George Harrison) even the score.

>>Public pressure forced her from the bench. Even in Boston.

Despite Dims all over the place (exc. gov's office) in Boston and Mass., there IS hope. Just like how Scare America's
ratings suck in Beantown...if only the GOP could run more/
better candidates, who knows what could happen? Remember
when the GOP had a bit of a resurgance with Weld, Malone,
Rep. Blute, Rep. Torkildsen, etc.? For awhile in the 90s
an anti-tax revolt (hello Barbara Anderson) and conservatism
helped to spur Republican victories, but now???

So there IS hope, and maybe if we can elect more GOP
candidates (c'mon Mitt, can't you get anyone to run
vs. Swimmer in '06? Lurch in '08?)

A bit of a disconnect in commies running a capitalistic bookstore. Shouldn't they be giving the books away? "To each according to his needs" and all that?

I'd like to see the leftist rockers who make millions sharing all their money. Bono from U2 bought a $15 million apartment in NYC from Steve Jobs. Can we all spend a night there? If he can afford $15 mil. for that, what's his total worth? Spread
the wealth...So much for lefties being anti-capitalist!

Unfortunately, since Boston Communists insist that only government personnel have the right to own firearms, no revolution is forthcoming.

When I was at MIT, I had to write a paper on the philosophy of Dworkin and needed one of his books. I couldnt find it in my library or in any of the bookstores in Cambridge and needed it that night. I went to the front of the Revolution Bookstore, thought about going in because I figured they had to have this book because Dworkin is a big socialist, and then saw their front display and ran away. I was scared for my life and disgusted because I thought I would be murdered. The display advocated murdering the president and I happened to have a Bush button on my backpack at the time.

I walk down to Central Square maybe once a fortnight and I just crack up everytime I see the Marxist Center for Education. Have never seen anyone go in it though :). Between there and the bookstore is the People's Republic bar that looks like a wistful hark back to the Soviet Union and PRC or a parody. Could never tell which.

When you look at the map of America, with all those red states filled with people who see George W. Bush as semi-divine, do you really think this country could ever turn communist?

"Well, there’s millions of people who hate that shit, too," she says. "But we’re gonna be doing some stuff this summer, going into those red zones. Getting into it. All these people who were voting for Bush, they were never confronted that Bush lied about the war. Kerry never really challenged that. We’re gonna challenge that." (George Bryant says there’ll even be room for truck-driving red-state Bible-thumpers when the revolution comes. "I think we’d have to have a place for them within the framework, debating with them, giving them space.")

They are comedians also!

Last time I went inside Revolution Books was seven years ago, with my socialist-sympathizing friends. However, it was a joke even to them. Only went to the People's Republic once. Kind of disturbing. I don't think people would find a Third Reich bar with Nazi posters on the walls very amusing. And yet, for the communists...

How do they manage to pay the rent? It is quite a pricy area and a lot of fringe business were driven out by high expenses.

I'm sure this grubby purveyor of socialist porn specifically sought out an elite Boston neighborhood. Yuppies and their bored little children are the biggest supporters of communism in America.
