Portrait of a Spiritual Killer: George Felos, in His Own Words
Crisis Magazine ^ | 6 July 2005 | Benjamin D. Wiker

Posted on 07/05/2005 6:18:13 PM PDT by Aussie Dasher

I don’t believe I have some kind of extraordinary spiritual sense, but something alerted me the very first time I saw George Felos, the lawyer responsible for killing Terri Schiavo: Something is deeply wrong with this man. Very deep, and very wrong.

I had no such spiritual warning on the radar in viewing Michael Schiavo. He looked like the kind of man who could kill his wife. And he did. On March 31, 2005, he successfully starved and dehydrated Terri Schindler Schiavo to death. Cold-blooded murder, but entirely transparent.

Michael was one of those intensely jealous, intensely violent types. In February 1990, Terri collapsed at home when oxygen was cut off to her brain. Michael claimed she had a potassium imbalance. A neurologist later testified that she had suffered a neck injury, the kind you get when someone tries to strangle you. To this day, doctors do not agree on the real cause of her collapse. Nevertheless, Michael was able to win a big medical malpractice court settlement—$1.5 million—vowing he needed the money to care for his beloved and now-damaged wife. As soon as he got the money, he began to try to kill her by depriving her of all medical treatment and rehabilitation. He finally finished her off with the death-camp treatment: no food, no water.

Cold-blooded murder, sanctioned by the state of Florida, watched by millions. Horrible; but again, quite transparent. Michael wanted the money. His wife, Terri, had to die for him to get it. And so he hired a “right-to-die” expert, lawyer George Felos.

Hey Dasher! Creepy post! It sounds almost like the demon posessed people in the Frank Perreti books. A truly evil man.

In the article, it read: "He looked like the kind of man who could kill his wife."

My stepfather was a county judge in a largely rural Indiana county, and my older brother and I would sit in the visitors gallery situated above the main floor of the courtroom and watch the proceedings below--very Harper Lee, I know. Although we were taught not to judge by outward appearances, it was amazing to my brother and me (then both very young) how much the accused criminals looked like men who would commit the crimes of which they were accused: petty thieves looked like petty thieves: shifty-eyed little weasels; wife-beaters like wife-beaters: brutish louts; con-men like con-men: slick and smooth; and so on. You could just imagine defense attorneys telling these men to look a little less sinister, please. So when the author says Michael Schiavo looks like a man who could kill his wife, I would have to agree. I thought so before they made the decision and began the killing process. Shame on those who did the act. Shame on all of us for letting it happen.

Felos is creepy, perhaps mentally ill, and appears to have hallucinations.

Totally gave me chills! This man is one sick twisted soul. He will surely burn in hell if he doesn't turn from his murderous ways!

Absolutely true.

Terri Schiavo was starved and dehydrated and must have looked like any one one of these Nazi victims, who were also deprived of their right to live.

Mass grave at Belsen, another Nazi death camp

Even Terri Schiavo's body was treated with the same total lack of respect. As if there is no difference between a human being and dirt.

EVIL. That is the only word to describe this monster, and the court system that allowed the murder before our very eyes. This was just the test case, there will be more. This article is chilling, but necessary reading.

"... sounds almost like the demon posessed people in the Frank Perreti books."

That's exactly what they are! It is a spiritual battle - life against death.

Michael and the vampire Felos came across exactly as this author describes them even on television, and some of the Fox journalists expressed their revulsion for Felos during the times he was describing poor Terri's "lovely" death.

God bless the Schindlers. Their daughter fell into the hands of monsters, and the courts and legislators mostly backed the monsters to the hilt.

As we all know, this is one sick individual. He probably was abused as a youngster (who knows how) because his fixation with death is real and his softspokenness belies a deep white-hot anger. Unless and until he gets help, he remains a dangerous monster.

BTW his writing style is puerile and pompous. But maybe that's just me.

Felos reminds me a great deal of Kevorkian, and not just because they're both in the assisted suicide business (although admittedly, Kevorkian's on an enforced hiatus right now). When Kevorkian was practicing medicine, he would peer into the eyes of dying patients in hopes of seeing...something--the spark go out, perhaps? Death holds an endless fascination for these two. Maybe it's the heady sense of power they feel when administering death to someone, whether using carbon monoxide or legal writ. I guess I'm saying that both are excited by sensation, not motivated by principle. At least Michael Schiavo's motive--greed--is a motive I can understand.

He's a psycho and chillingly evil. And apparently twisting the law to sate his appetite for death, death visited upon people at his whim. Kevorkian wasn't even that diabolically clever.

This comparison is an insult to convicted murderer Kevorkian, who made doubly and triply sure his victims wanted to die, and were terminal. He would not touch a case when the wish to die was hearsay from an interested party who had deserted his spousal duty, and the victim was not terminal. Yet these were circumstances of Terri's killing.

As depraved and despicable as George Felos is, his treachery would have been impossible without a willing accomplice in Michael Schiavo.
