"Novak has already said that he called Tenet to get a confirmation,"

You sure about that?

Liberal game plan:

It's not whether it's true or false, it's the seriousness of the charge against Rove that matters!

Just wanted to make that clear.

Another thing which needs to be made clear is that there is no evidence any crime has actually been committed.

This is all just the media chumming the waters.

Exactly. Even if true, if as part of the exececutive branch, he was acting in the interest of national security, who cares.

Sure, they're salivating for it to be Rove.

Even if it is (and I don't think it is), so what?

Sandy Berger gets away with far worse and CIA intelligence is routinely leaked to the NY Times and the Post during the election season. Nothing short of an MSM inspired coup, complete with the CIA's help. I haven't heard of too many 'leaks' from 'intelligence officials' since Porter Goss took over. I'm hoping he gets the support he needs to make a difference.

Regarding Who's Who in America it lists Wilson's wife as " Valerie Elise Plame ." So, given Novak's mention of the publication, and Wilson's statements that she used "Wilson" since their marriage in the 90's, I think that supports the story that Novak's "leakers" didn't mention her name but said only "wife" and Novak went to the publication to get a name.

If so, Novak himself took extraordinary efforts to out Wilson's wife, by name. Mean guy.

Wouldn't he have to already know her maiden name was Plame to look her up by that entry, though? Seems like he'd still need some source of information to connect Valerie Wilson to the name "Plame". If she put "Valerie Plame Wilson" on a credit card or utility bill or something he may have connected the two names through a public records search; or he could've searched for information on Wilson himself and found a common address or phone number linking him to Valerie Plame. However when I do a public records search, I come up with Joseph C. Wilson and Valerie Plame listed at different addresses, so I can't confirm that there's any records which would've enabled Novak to make that connection; though of course there may be records out there that aren't turning up in my search.

Doh! I'm rereading Novak's second article now and I see he was talking about Wilson's Who's Who entry, not Plame's. [Emily Litella voice] Never mind :-)

DSM, new torture photos, Election Fraud, no wmd's, now Karl Rove, the left are so funny!!!!!!

Always bringing up BS, perhaps if they had enough balls, Bin laden would be caught by now.

The Rove story will go nowhere, if its not him it will die, and if it is him which I doubt it, it was just a mistake, this wont hurt Bush at all.

If who had enough balls? Sorry, I'm confused. The media? The military? The Democrats? The Republicans? The White House? Just whose balls are you referring to?
