Shouldn't our line be red?
Will you explain the graphs to me? What do they mean?
Nah.. Red color is for thucking commies. I still have a bone with the idiot(s) who assigned Republican-voting states red color in 2004 maps.
your graphics show DU blowing the doors off FR. I think you might have messed up somewhere.
I always had an issue with that too.
rank trend? that means FR was ranked high in traffic/hits?
Its a graph of Rank. so lower numbers are better and that is why lower numbers go up the axis.
TROLL
What are you talking about? Are you color blind?
It's a graph of rank. THe lower the number the better.
Sorry, possibly not...I read an early sign up date, and confusing stats, wrongly.
Apologies.
not a troll - lower # is best - like being ranked #1 instead 1000
I got confused too. Sorry.
all this shows is traffic among people who have downloaded the alexa SPYWARE
Sorry about that last post. It IS confusing.
Yeah, I know. I can't help being blond. Alright! ;-)
The numbers on the Y (vertical) axis are the "ranking" of the website with respect to internet traffic. The most busy (i.e. "popular") website on the internet would be ranked #1 and show up highest on the graph versus any other website.
The chart shows that DU has varied from a high of being about the 4,000th most visited site on the internet, down to the 10,00th most visited site on the internet.
Over the same period, FreeRepublic has varied from being about the 1,000th most visited site on the internet to the 2,000th most visitied site.
I'd like to see the same charts measured by actual number of visitors -- the general shape of the lines would be the same, but the vertical range might be considerably different (and in my opinion, more informative). With the current chart, there's no way to tell whether the 4000th most popular site has half the volume traffic of the 1000th most popular site, or a millionth of the traffic...
NO Troll! It's about RANK, not number of HITS - like being Number ONE is better than being Number TEN in this case. We are ranking WAY better than DU!
No, I'm sorry. It IS confusing.
Bottom line: Free Republic rules!

LH
