Bob Woodward mounted a vigorous defense of Karl Rove on Larry King Live against the accusation that he leaked the secret identity of a CIA undercover agent. He cautioned against jumping to conclusions and said there is no evidence that Rove disclosed the identity of Wilson's wife. He also went on to say that Rover was simply "talking about her", and may not have known her position as a secret, undercover agent. As such, Woodward maintained, Rove did NOT compromise national security or put anyone's life in danger.
I meant calling Woodward--one of their heroes--traitor. They yammer on about independent journalists, yet when a journalist is willing to nail Nixon when he has what he considers evidence, and yet won't nail Rove because he says he has no evidence, suddenly he's not "independent" anymore.

I think he lied; Casey's wife says he lied; Casey's family says he lied and the doctors at the hospital say he lied.
Once the prosecuter finishes up and no indicments are given out to Rove, then we can celebrate, THE MSM WILL HAVE SO MUCH EGG ON THIER FACE SO WILL DU!!!!!
I SAY LET THE MSM GO AFTER ROVE, LET DU KEEP SPINNING THIER LIES, BECAUSE THE MORE THEY DO IT THE MORE STUPID THEY WILL LOOK WHEN THERE IS NO INDICMENT FOR ROVE.

Woodward is a good reporter. He is probably somewhat left wing, but he's always been able to put aside his bias, at least more so then other reporters.

I say that what Sandy Berger did is SO MUCH WORSE than this would be, if it were true....
I haven't heard anyone, not even Republicans all upset at the slap on the wrist that Berger got...I wonder why?
The best evidence that I have that Rove didn't break any law, is that if Matthew Cooper or Robert Novak or Judith Miller, or any other player in this KNEW that Karl Rove broke the law or even got close, this would have been out BEFORE the 2004 election.

You have got to be kidding? Bob Woodward, IMHO, was a young schmuck reporter who happened on to a story decades ago that made him world famous. Since then he has done nothing in the journalistic world that would indicate that he is good reporter. He is still milking his Watergate fame.... Don't have any use for this schmuck.....

WE THE PEOPLE have the vote, but I don't think a lot of people even think about some of the congresscritters..they just vote the same every time.
yeah well , the mid term elections are comin' up ,.. some politicos will gulp real hard in the aftermath , I sense there are more folks FED UP than the DC crowd can know , the inability to do something about our southern border , and then call the MM vigilantes is just laughing in our collective face after spitting on us first , I think '06 will be a cold shower
