The funniest part is that you actually took the time to make a crank call. Forget the rudeness of it and look at the process involved. Who over the age of 12 says 'Heh why don't I make a crank phone call?' You reflect poorly on all of us.

I just love John Gibson...I like Brit best for news, but for commentary, give me Gibson...
Whenever he subs on radio shows for Tony Snow or O'Reilly, he really is good, because he doesn't even have to pretend to be fair and balanced....

Rove was honest and the Liberal Media hates him for it?
There are too many Partisan Liberal Democrats running the Big Media.

Insulting a rogue spook is not my idea of a 'crank call' I call it taking the fight to the opposition. I see no reason why she and her little clique should escape scot free and even though it wont result in any action against her, if half a million people called CIA HQ and expressed their displeasure with Joe Wilson's whore, somthing might get done.

My take on your proposition and my fear is that it is counter productive. It serves to make us look bad. What do you expect the CIA to do...nada. They are powerless in this regarding Plame. Furthermore it makes us look like teenagers IMHO. You of course are free to pursue your own methods as you mentioned. I humbly disagree.

DUers are in a fit over this and sending John Gibson hate e-mails. Ergo, he is lusciously correct.

They should put Gibson in Greta's slot and put her on after I go to bed. Yeah. What's up with that? Her show is like a men's version of "The View."
Of course the upshot is that's like putting out a men's version of pantyhose.

Next to Brit Hume, John Gibson is my fav. Straight talker, and funny to boot.

I agree Rove shouldn't have talked to the reporter the way he did (Hey W, the press and Teddy K are NOT your friends). But to compare that to leaking info to a "Chinese agent" is a stretch. Keep in mind he streesed to the reporter to keep it in double secret background, and was simply trying to mention Wilson's wife in passing to refute another point. The reporter used the info against his agreement in a hit piece on the Admin.
I've seen no evidence Rove specifically "outed" Plame or attempted to endanger her in any way. Her and her husband and the media were and are acting like partisan hacks.
My point is, he breached a security protocol - it shouldn't matter if it was a Chinese agent or a reporter, or whether he used her name, or just mentioned her position in passing.
Rove probably thought he was doing the right thing at the time, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
You don't discuss security personnel or situations, period.
