The NAACP is meeting this week, too, but he declined the NAACP invitation

As well he should. Wouldn't it be great if the Pres made his SCOTUS nomination at the Black Expo. Justice Janice Rogers Brown, anyone?

Interesting how this guy says he can't hear Tony, but seems to be speaking only when Tony stops talking.

Frank quotes Christine Matthews and Andrea Mitchell. Well, that ought to sew it up for all of us. Rolling eyes...

The caller must be one of the two listeners to Mathews' show.

I think that the better angle is that there's no apparent reason why Cooper and Miller would have to resist testimony if this is all there is. But it would appear from Rove's statements that the buzz about Valerie Plame originated from another journalist.

Or the other possibility is that Miller and or Cooper distorted what they were told.

I think you are right, but Cooper is in no way an "objective" journalist like the media is pretending.

In the original reports about this story, I do remember the claim that Rove said Plame was "fair game".

However, that means nothing, could have been Coopers or any other lamestream reporters own little special embellishment of the story.

I dont' know how Tony will verify if Rove actually said that or not. Personally, it sounds much more like lamestream injection.

Knowing the context is key as well. If Rove said something along those lines after Joe Wilson published his whine a thon in Vanity Fair, who could blame Karl?

There is NO WAY that Judith Miller would sit in jail to 'protect' Karl Rove.

The revelation of her 'source' has got to be so embarrassing and/or detrimental to a dem that she simply can't go that route.

By first demanding an independent prosecutor and now impeding his investigation, the role of the NEW YORK TIMES in this witch hunt needs to be investigated.

Victoria Toensing was on Fox and Friends this morning and she said US Air lost her bags. I feel for ya, sister. United Airlines lost my wedding dress and I never got it back. I complained so much that I'm probably on their do not fly list.

Y'all HAVE GOT to read this breif

All of the 36 news agencies in the brief were hell bent on saying NO CRIME was committed yet these same agencies are now trying to say Karl Rove committed a crime.

Yet the "crime" they're trying to pin on Rove is the exact same "crime" they tried to prove didn't happen, to a court.
