In doing a search on Joe Wilson's company, J C Wilson International Ventures, I came across this article from Aljazerah. It is dated January 26, 2005.
I cannot read it but there are many names we would recognize.

Yeah, it ties in. I read that Wilson was actually doing some private business with some of the players in the oil for food scandal while he was over there investigating the yellow cake.

So if Joe has been involved in illegal activity, using his position and his wife's position/contacts to further that activity, and his lies have not escaped the SP, it is possible that
1. The probe truly has shifted to this aspect
2. His politcal connections could be implicated in major ways.
What I cannot figure out though is:
Is he so stupid to think he will not be dropped by the dems who are using him to destroy Bush as soon as they figure out he may be the criminal?
or
Is he smart enough to pull unsuspecting dems into his web in an effort to cover his tracks?
I really do not know the answer to this.
I keep coming back to Cooper's dramatic scene last week. There was no need at all to embellish a phone call from attorney to attorney, making it the dramtic, last minute reprieve he wanted us to think it was. Too much information. False information, at that.
Someone, somewhere is pulling the strings on this.

Ask Chris LeHane, I really figure that he was the mastermind behind this whole issue. I read over and over that the Wilson report and claim that someone in the Whitehouse had outed his wife, got little attention until LeHane shopped the story to the media. It was also LeHane that pushed for an independent council, but it was the CIA who finally entered the frey and called for an investigation and got it.
I really think that Wilson is a supremely stupid dupe that is so full of himself that he just keeps digging himself in deeper and deeper.
Interesting that Senator Coleman will be giving the response to Wilson's dog-and-pony-show press conference, given the OFF connection..................
Last night, on Fox, a Democrat talking head asserted that Jos. Wilson had voted for "W" in 2000. The above makes that man a LIAR. Thank you for the post.

Any brain damage done while it was in full production can probably not be reversed.
So if his comapny is not listed in any database I can find (state corporations online) does that mean it does not exsist?
And what does that make of the contributions-suppose he named a non-exsistent company?
