Sounds like she had a typical California public school education... How do you know she was not born in the US?
Unfortunately there are tons of 2nd and 3rd gen Latinos that cannot speak English worth a damm... Shows how worthless bi-lingual education had been in California..

Yeah but if we keep voting for the same two parties neither will have a reason to listen or change.
If we want to keep our country we damn well better get the attention of one party even if we have to let it set out a term.
Republicans were better listeners and fighters when they were in the minority.

I'm willing to bet he understands exactly what you're saying, considering that it's probably been explained to him over and over, and considering that it's not a very difficult concept at all, to begin with. He just doesn't know how to respond, so he thinks it'd be cute to play games instead. There are a few of them like that around here.
