Tired of pro-abortion politicians in your diocese? File a formal DENUNCIATION with the Church

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE PRO-ABORTION CATHOLIC POLITICIAN PROJECT

The enclosed “generic” letter and observations were designed to serve as models for actual denunciations of pro-abortion Catholic politicians.

A denunciation is roughly the equivalent of a criminal complaint in secular law. As private citizens, if we have knowledge of criminal activity we are required to report it to the proper authorities and cooperate with any subsequent investigation. At that point, we have discharged our obligation. We cannot take the law into our own hands and we have no right to demand a specific penalty in the event that the offender is found guilty. Generally speaking, the same is true in the Church’s legal system

Now, this seems like a VERY constructive course of action!

How mant "denunciations" can we expect from Massachusetts?

Did someone suggest "cleaning house?"

Why didn't someone let Catholics know about this before? Perhaps because God knew that Papa Ben was next in line and he was the one chosen to start the cleansing?

Viva Papa Benedicto!

I'm not sure that Ted Kennedy even attends any church on a regular basis if scarcely at all. Likewise, I remember during the 2004 election reading some comments about Kerry and his new found faithfulness in attending church weekly during the campaign (usually he would attend mass as a token someplace and then show up at some black Baptist church to spout campaign rhetoric during supposedly a church service, and pander for the votes of Afro-Americans.

But if anyone can file a denunciation complaint either of these reprobates or other other pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage Dems, then please do so.

People I know who live in Washington see him at Mass all the time.

Well, I'm a Vriginian and Moran is now a target for one of these letters. :)

Can any and all Massachusett Catholic Freepers file a denunciation for Kennedy and Kerry? I think this would be a good, constructive project for you Catholics that live in that area.

Massachusett Catholic Freepers

He is a Massichusett-ian in name only. (MINO?) I would file in Washington, DC or in West Palm Beach Florida.

And wouldn't ya just know it? The Arlington Diocese is one of the more conservative ones out there.

Sounds good to me, I'll give it a try.

I think non-catholics can also petition the bishop in the diocese in which they live.

I work in a State Capitol. Can I submit denunciations for people who only live six months of the year in the diocese? (I hope not, because I'm going to have a whole pile of paperwork ahead of me.)
