I have a friend who lives in a subdivision near that new jail. I bet she is happy with this development, considering how much they complained about it being built near all the new homes to begin with.

Don't put the cart before the horse. The first thing wrong is what got them there in the first place. In some cases VERY WRONG.
That deserves thought before anything else is considered.
Other than that, we can just say that you have your opinion and I have mine.
