I already read your post, had a good cry for the poor prisoners, and went to bed.

I'm NOT going to change my position

I have a friend who lives in a subdivision near that new jail. I bet she is happy with this development, considering how much they complained about it being built near all the new homes to begin with.

prisons are not "time outs"

some how, some way, the criminals have managed to get resorts, to replace the system

Don't put the cart before the horse. The first thing wrong is what got them there in the first place. In some cases VERY WRONG.

That deserves thought before anything else is considered.

Other than that, we can just say that you have your opinion and I have mine.

Well it makes for good political campaign bites, but it is a COSTLY and inhumane crime policy, especially for nonviolent "perps".

it's obvious, by your statement that you have never visited a resort, or a jail/prison. You don't know what you are talking about. Just parroting somebody else.

PLEASE PEOPLE, Quit just parotting other people! If you have never visited a relative or friend in a jail/prison, you don't have any right to comment on them.
