Nor did the 52 and more persons blown up by ISLAMIC TERRORISTS. STOP WORRYING ABOUT AN IDIOT. WORRY ABOUT ISLAM.
The BBC account of the incident was posted yesterday. Aren't you interested in seeing how the NYT will put a leftist slant to a story?
Would they really do that? LOL Nah not the NY Times. NEVER EVER! ;-)
Any word from the media about the guy's religion?
Another cousin, Aleide Menezes, said in an interview with Brazil's national radio network that Mr. Menezes understood English well and would have understood the officer's instructions. Other relatives, in television and newspaper interviews, said the family was Roman Catholic and that Mr. Menezes had nothing to do with Islam.
I am not surprised that he was shot. I am surprised that they killed him. They were good shots.
Anything about his IQ?
Anytime you are told to do something by a armed police officer, it is a good idea to do it.
Hmmm. It's odd that his being a Catholic isn't more widely reported.
Usually if a perp's islamic, it gets supressed (DC snipers, grenade in tent during war, etc...)
That is one of those things that we learn, like it or not, when we are very, very, very young.
The D.C. bomber and grenade sergeant were African-American Muslims. African-Americans get a pass on bad behavior in this country.
If they had been Arabs....world news for a month, photos, details, the whole nine yards.
I'm not sure I've seen a report that the guy was carrying a big backpack, where did you get that from?
Television, Fox News, yesterday.
That is why he was "suspicious" looking and why they ordered him to stop. Big backpacks are "suspicious" and that, you would think, would be a no-brainer.
It's not in any of the witness statements that I've seen and wasn't mentioned in a fairly extensive interview with the Met Police commissioner on Sky News this morning.
The initial suspicions were aroused by him leaving a block of flats that were under surveilance, and the fact that he was wearing a padded coat and jumped the ticket turnstiles. One of the initial eyewitnesses at the time was talking about seeing a 'belt' with wires hanging off, but that could've been a mistake, or something the guy was carrying for his electrician's job.
Muslims have now turned the streets of London into a war zone. As London is now a war zone, previous rules of conduct no longer apply. Put yourself in this young Brazilians shoes for a minute or two and consider these facts:
1. The young Brazilian lived in a rather seedy section of London where muggings frequently occur.
2. The policemen who had him under surveillance were not in uniform.
3. As the police were working in this part of London they dressed to fit in.
4. A person who appeared to be a street bum yelled and made threatening moves toward him and he ran, as he had probably done in the past.
Until this war is over and Islam is forced back under the black rock from whence it came, we will all have to alter our personal behavior and be aware of our surroundings at all times. We have allowed savages to penetrate our society and until they are forcefully removed, our families and we are all in constant peril.
Hey, he was an electrician. That means he was better at algebra than I am.
