There are signs, however, that the administration effort is running into problems even as it begins: Several key business groups are hesitant to join the new coalition

American citizens of every color and ethnic origin (yeah, even the "brown" ones with Hispanic surnames, mmm-kay, bayourod?) need to "target" the very fatcats that Bush/Rove are targeting with their demands for the big bucks. To counter this effort of the Treason Lobby, we ordinary taxpaying citizens need a "This business doesn't hire illegals" campaign, asking businesses to display a logo that they only employ citizens or persons in the country legally and with work permits. Every other establishment from MacDonald's to MicroSoft that can't or won't run the logo in their advertising and public displays should be boycotted by patriotic Americans. No business for scofflaws!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not really sure if they negatively affect the level of taxation. And the reason I say that is most of the big migration of immigrants is to the south and southwest. Where also American citizens from other states are moving to.

This whole proposal is best termed "GSI" or "GOP Suicide Initiative". Appearently having Bush's back all these years will now be rewarded by... him going to war with conservative talk radio over a small, insignificant issue like... immigration! Ah, that makes a lot of sense... not!

Not really. People are moving out of California to other states. Not the reverse.

"3. Bayourod types who claim to be anti-illegal, but want to weaken the laws and strengthen amnesty programs such that no one will ever be illegal again and American sovereignty and borders will be meaningless all in pursuit of the allmighty dollar and, of course, the pandering of Hispanic votes--because he basically thinks "we" are childlike and one-issuer voters who vote based on immigration issues when in fact many of "we" don't know any illegals or anyone in Mexico."

Just found out the good news on the pro-illegal alien enthusiast, bayourod. While we might hope for a complete banning, experience would indicate this is probably the usual light slap on the wrist/timeout normally meted out to the pro-illegal alien/cheap labor lobby. My money is on a suspension, not a banning, that will last no more than a week. If it should turn out to be a total ban for this shameless hispanderer, then FR will have decided to return to its conservative legacy. That would indeed be happy news.

I've stopped all donations to my GOP membership until I hear that he's going to protect our borders and stop this nonsense about amnesty...

The SSA does not care if a number is real or fake.
Currently, I do investigative work in the worker's comp field. A majority of SSn's claimed by Claimants with Hispanic surnames either do not come back to anyone (Made up), or the come back to the Claimant and another person (made up, but it belongs to the other person).
I've notified SSA and the GSA, but have never recieved either a reply or an inquiry.

"The SSA does not care if a number is real or fake."

Then why does it exist if it's nonfunctioning? I mean, we know it exists to take all of OUR (Americans) money away from us but ....

Why no worry that the tone of the immigration pandering is pushing Americans away from the Republican Party?

Americans don't matter.

I stopped giving to the RNC long ago. I withdrew my membership and started returning all their mail in their return envelopes with notations on them why I was not rejoining, was not giving a dime to them. I am sick of the RINOcrats. I am sick of the socialists. I guess I will have to move to Mars or somewhere to escape these people. They tell you anything and everything to get into office, then do what they want and to hell with you and what they promised to accomplish. Nope. I don't give to any political party any more.

You and I are part of what is becoming a very large group of enraged loyal American conservatives.

Here's a chilling couple of paragraphs from the article:

Craig Regelbrugge, a lobbyist for the American Nursery & Landscape Assn., one of the groups being courted by the new coalition, said Bush would succeed in forging partnerships with business only once he felt comfortable angering some parts of his base.

"You're never going to please them all," Regelbrugge said, who like Gay has attended preliminary meetings of the coalition. "That's the difficult thing for the White House on this. They don't want to anger anyone. But the party's going to have to choose between the closed-minded restrictionists and the business base…. Who's really the base of the base? Farmers and businesspeople, or the others?"

Get it? You're the "base" when you've got your vote to offer, but when it comes time to pony up the big buck campaign contributions, you're NOT "the base" anymore. Don't believe the Open Borders Lobby's swill: this amnesty plan isn't about "reaching out" to Hispanics, or giving people from violent undemocratic Third World countries "a better life" in America. It's about letting clients of cynical lobbyists like Regelbrugge up their bottom line with plenty of cheap labor, and then sticking taxpaying "voting" citizens in the "base" with the bill for the health care, education, "empowerment," etc. of that cheap labor. And good luck finding the money to pay the bill, after you and your family can't find jobs thanks to Bush's amnesty.

Right on point.

Perhaps we should ping the FR resident quisling lobby so they can be better informed...

Someone recently posted the comment that "winning for the sake of winning isn't worth much, especially at the expense of your ideals".

Losing and letting pure liberalism control because you are unwilling to accept anything less than perfection is irrational.

I read the posts of those race-baiting, platitude-spouting Open Borders folks here and I ask myself, "Why do they call themselves 'conservatives'? What are they trying to 'conserve'? The rule of law? The rights, privileges and immunities of American citizens? American sovereignty and territorial integrity? The public fisc? American jobs? Public education? Our health care system? Public order...? What's 'conservative,' or 'right-wing,' or 'patriotic,' or 'American' about any of them?"

I think most of the quislings have pretty much given up the "I'm a conservative" claim. They seem to have backed off to the "I'm a Republican" defense. So far three of the quislings have been outed on my favorite test.

The question is a simple one. There are no in-betweens. It's either a 0 or 1, yes or no answer. So far, it has outed 3 of the quislings as not being loyal American conservatives but rather, at best, part of the GOP Big Tent collection of RINOs/Liberals/Moderates. They probably think that's something to be proud of.

Here's the question: Loyal American conservatives believe strongly in defending American sovereignty, protecting the borders, and the preservation of American culture, traditions, customs and language. These are the values of loyal American conservatives. Are they yours?

The quislings will never provide a yes or no answer. They attack, toss out the race card, deny, stonewall, mumble a non-answer, or simply disappear. Thus, they establish beyond dispute they are not loyal American conservatives. What any of them are doing on a conservative site for conservatives remains a mystery.
