If we don't do this, more bombings will occur

IMO, the reason why we have had no 'serious' terrorists attack in the US since 9/11, has absolutely nothing to do with the 'acclaimed' success of the Patriot Act.

The Islamists got a quick reality check when the US response was too make an offer that Pakistan couldn't refuse, smash the Taliban in Afghanistan, neutralize Lybia, and tear down the rulers in Iraq.

They must wonder what the response would be if anything major was perpetrated in the US. If and should we lighten up, then IMO another major terrorist act will happen.

Our biggest problem are the sellout Democrats and ostrich Republicans.

"Our biggest problem are the sellout Democrats and ostrich Republicans."

Don't forget the traitors like Jane Fonda and the other peaceniks, or the increasingly politicized pacifist Christian main stream churhces like the methodists et al.

I think the reason we have not yet been attacked agains is because we are no longer as easy a target as before, because we disrupted their organization, and becasue we are further form the Islamic heartleand than Western Europe.

But I know they are plotting while we speak, and it is only a matter of time before we are hit again, perhaps in an even more hideous fashion.

The only real solution is to get the Elephant out of the living room. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all the terrorists are Muslims and hte non-terrorist Muslims either support these people clandestinely, or at the very least sympathize with them.

We must make a choice between abanoning one of the premises of our society or watch the entire system collapse. I opt for the former by removing the Elephant in the Living Room.

Yes, it‘s true: In newspapers that in the best of cases pharasaically opposed me with a conspiracy of silence now appear titles using my concepts and words.--“War Against the West.”; “Cult of Death”; “The Suicide of Europe”; Wake up, Italy! Wake up!“

Oriana Fallaci is a journalist who says that objectivity is not possible in journalism.

Whether they know it or not, American journalists have accepted this - that's why we see so much biased reporting today - but these same journalists also still insist they are being objective.

I'm pleased to see others here who know and respect her. God bless her, and many thanks for the translation.

Oriana Fallaci Nailed It!
Moral Clarity BUMP !

This ping list is not author-specific for articles I'd like to share. Some for perfect moral clarity, some for provocative thoughts; or simply interesting articles I'd hate to miss myself. (I don't have to agree with the author 100% to feel the need to share an article.) I will try not to abuse the ping list and not to annoy you too much, but on some days there is more of good stuff that is worthy attention. You can see the list of articles I pinged to lately on my page.

Besides this one, I keep separate PING lists for my favorite authors Victor Davis Hanson, Orson Scott Card, David Warren and Lee Harris (sometimes). You are welcome in or out, just freepmail me (and note which PING list you are talking about).

It puzzles me why we are so concerned about Gitmo inmates being allowed Korans and encouraged to 'pray' 5 times a day?

You're probably too young to remember, but during WWII, we gave the German prisoners copies of "Mein Kampf", each cell had pictures of the Fuehrer and each prisoner was fed the master race's diet of pork sausages and saurkraut.

What a good woman she is....Oriana has more brains and stones than ninety percent of the male liberals screeching around about "dialogue" and "understanding"....

The Gitmo inmates should receive 'sensitivity' training instead.

Yes, yes, I think you are on to something here. Around the clock sensitivity training along with multiculturalism, equal rights, diversity and cultural awareness training. Think of it as non-stop emersion, 18 hours a day for the rest of their life.

Hehe that really would be torture, but the leftists could not complain about it.

Ping for my favorite Italian writer to my favorite Italian Freeper.

Oriana Fallaci is an Italian and world treasure. I'm proud she considers the US "her husband" (her words from The Pride and the Rage). I'm a Christian, but before I was a Christian I was a lover of truth and I detect that heart in Oriana.

May God lead her to salvation.

Thanks for the great post. I wonder how many Moslems, we allow to emigrate into the United States each year at this time. I think it is time to start talking about approaching zero.

Whatever one says about the problem of Moslems in our society, there is no doubt that it is much easier to keep them out than to deal with them once they are in.

Thanks for the ping, and thanks for posting this.

Does anyone know if Ms Fallaci was living in Switzerland? Why did the Swiss want her extradited? I thought they were hardheaded enough to see the danger. Guess I was wrong....
