"The Advertising Standards Authority believes balding and paunchy men would be less likely to encourage women to drink to achieve social success."
Which mean women will only have to drink more until the balding paunchy guy looks handsome.
I recall a beer commercial (I think it was Danish) a few years back where a guy is sitting in a bar across from a plain looking woman...and after every drink she became a little more attractive until she was beautiful...and he was sloshed out of his gord.

What they don't contemplate is the fact that the more one drinks the better looking everyone around you gets!

The industry regulator instructed the firm: "We would advise that the man in the picture should be unattractive - ie overweight, middle-aged, balding etc. Well now, lets see!
Overweight? CHECK!
Middle-aged? CHECK!
Balding? CHECK!
Unattractive? (The wife would argue that point, but if it means additional employment...)CHECK!
Well Damn! That could make me their new spokesman!
When do I get my first paycheck?

Can we get bloated, bitchy, snarling women in the femine hygene comemrcals too?
A new career for Helen Thomas! It would get her out of the White House, too!

So does this mean that the lovely young things are supposed to "hook" a balding, paunchy guy like I am about to become?
If that's the case, I'd better start drinking now. :)
