Thanks for the daily lesson. We must stand "where no one stands alone"--with the Lord! We can't stand on our own merit!
Good evening, Mayor. How did your day go? Was it easier today in the cooler weather? How's your foot healing?

It's a short-lived sitcom from 1978, a lame take-off of "Saturday Night Fever." The title song stayed in the charts longer than the show stayed on the air.

Theme from "Ultra Man". And the Dennis Farina show "Crime Story" in the eighties had a good comtemporary version of "Runaway".

This is an Old Sarge update.
Ping all who needs to know.
Just got a phone call from my Dad, he got an e-mail from the Old Sarge. I am posting snips from it, leaving out thing that may not need be repeated on the Internet.

>

> something, Dad? I like the late-night chats, too.
___________
When Dad can't sleep, he e-mail's Old Sarge. Dad just joined FR. Look for Skyrader. Those are the air craft he worked on on the USS Essex during the Korean War. Dad tells stories about night watch in SD, CA. And what it was like aboard ship on night watch. With the ship pitching back and forth, the tie downs of the air craft had to be maintained.
If there is any Navy out there that knows VC-35 - VAAW35, ping up Skyraider. In his 70's, he's salty at the PC but can get around.
Well, that's all I have. Old Sarge is busy, but the Canteen folks make him AND THE SERVICE PEOPLE HE IS WITH, feel right at home.
Long live our FreeRepublic.
