Yes, that Raquet Club & VDS as condo owners/members, was talked about all over MSM.

IF the VDS have moved out of their house, maybe they've moved into the condo for more privacy perhaps? That would make sense.

There was a concert in Aruba that night. Natalee went. Does anyone know who was performing there? Main acts as well as warm-up bands? I've been trying to find a link but am coming up empty. (I'm also trying to work...shoot, I showed up. Do they really want me to work too??)

I believe Jossy reported on Nancy Grace Show yesterday that he had a condo or access to a condo at the club. I had heard of it previously also.

So when they came out, we told her about the waiter wanting to take her off of the ship. And she screwed her mouth up and said, "No way, that's too creepy." We suggested being in a foreign country that they not leave the ship. We came to find out that the same bar that they wanted to take Amy to was the same bar as Natalee Holloway was in.

I have now been told by a poster at SM that the Mansurs are brothers. Can't verify, but have seen in mentioned that the Dutch were unhappy with the money-laundering in Aruba and were already investigating when Natalee vanished.

The Mansurs are said to be THE most powerful family in Aruba.

Yes, I know some are based here, but being based here is not legally binding like registration would be. The point being made in the show I watched was that registration outside of the US keeps the cruise ship out of the US law realm. So, to use the fact that the cruise ship is based in the US as a reason to place Amy on the US missing person's list and not Natalee does not make sense to me. Both missing persons went missing outside of US domain.

Well, I'd thought the hotel security they had initially arrested were "hotel security", but I was unaware she'd been to the soul festival. I searched for the soul festival information and found the dates of the soul festival and the organizer's info as well.

The Dutch have been investigating the Mansurs for drug activities for years. While I think that JMansur is the most articulate Aruban we see on the news, he's so thick into the power structure and may have motives and issues about which we know nothing, that I listen to all of his words very, very carefully. They are weighted in ways we can't know.
