Latest Information Regarding Tomorrow's Event in Crawford

Rally Eve has arrived, and things are really looking good for the event in Crawford tomorrow. An awful lot of preparation has gone into trying to make this event very worthwhile and well run.

Some of us will be at the rally site by 9AM. If others are coming early, you are invited to come on by our rally site, and lend a hand in last minute preparations. Whatever time you come, use lots of sunscreen, bring a good supply of water, and wear a sun hat , The weather is predicted to be well over 100 degrees, with high humidity. There will be big fans set up to at least stir the air a bit, but be prepared to be hot. It is, after all, August in Texas.

Once again, here is where to find us: We will be at the Community Center, which is next to the Crawford High School football stadium, on East 4th Street. Freepers and friends who are already on site will be placing directional signs around Crawford, guiding folks to our site. Of course, there's always the possibility that these signs will be removed or destroyed by the other side--but we are trying to make it easy for everyone to find our event.

At this point, we have no idea how many will show up, of course. I've seen all sorts of estimates---but from experience, I know these estimates are always hugely overblown. However many show up is how many we will have is my best estimate--LOL!

We have an excellent lineup of speakers--most of whom are family of active duty service men and women in the Middle East now, and we have at least one man who will speak, who did at least one tour in Iraq himself, but who, sadly, buried his twin brother in June--the victim of a gun battle between US Forces and the terrorists.

A group of firemen will be cooking and serving Barbequed brisket and sausage on the grounds. We are asking for a freewill donation to cover the firemen's cost when you get your barbeque.

Angelwood has provided us with some of her wonderful Freeper buttons to pass around, and freeper W04 (I can't remember all of his name--will look it up and add it later), has sent some excellent, very large banners that we hope to be able to put across the front of the stage.

Kristinn has been in Crawford since Wednesday, making all the important arrangements for procurring all things necessary for putting on a rally of this magnitude. Doctor Raoul will once again be joining us.

Hope to meet and greet a whole lot of Freepers tomorrow!

EAGLES UP!

Based on the MSM coverage, you would never know anyone was in Crawford, except Cindy Sheehan, her pinko clan and President Bush. Even Fox's Brit Hume reported on only Sheehan today and never mentioned any Bush/Troop supporters. We need to write to them and remind them of what made them #1.......FAIR & BALANCED...........

The TV cable and Network News are useless.

Just like the jelly fish in the US Senate

Which US GOP Senators are going to Crawford?
They have the time off work and can well afford to buy airline tickets.
Which GOP Governors will be in attendance?
The next President of the United States will be there
and I'll vote for him or her
because they supported our troops when they need it the most.

My wife and I will be there. Meeting up with the caravan in Waco. I'm recovering from cancer surgery last week and may not be able to stay long but as a Vietnam Vet I couldn't let this chance pass. See everyone there.

Reinforcements are on the way to counter the code pinkos and the other assorted America hating Marxists at camp casey. Remember, do everything by the books as the MSM (old) media will be watching you like hawks.

Stay safe and Semper Fi'

Prayers go out from Jacksonville, Fla. for a safe rally and that hopefully the MSM finally reports that Cindy Sheehan is a small minority compared to those of us who support the President and our troops. Give them heck !

Thanks for the ping. It's my mom's 84th birthday and the relatives are all at my house so I can't go. The good news: I believe there is a bus (maybe two) coming from the Brownwood area with supporters. Prayers for all.
