Well look who is here without official clearance trying to dig up dirt....
I thought that the below information would be helpful as 60 Minutes has been snooping around - it is hard to tell what their actual agenda is but it doesn't matter as they have not been credentialed by CFC-A.

All, 60 mins is still in the AO. They ambushed one of our PRT commanders down in RC South today. No contact with the news crew is authorized. The 60 mins crew is not authorized to work with anyone from CJTF76. They are not credentialed by CFC-A and were told this before they arrived in Afghanistan.
Please pass this out to all subordinate commanders and all FOB.

Would you try to ask pertinant and wide ranging questions. Would you give your interviewee a chance to talk. Would you faithfully report what you saw, heard and learned? I suspect, roses, that you would. You would be a far better "journalist" than the gotcha guys.
Maybe so, since I am truly interested and as curious as hell as to what is going on 24/7 with our soldiers, the citizens they protect in both countries, the enemy they fight, their battle defeats and victories, and on and on.
Damn it, why can't CBS just decide to run the full press conferences from our military, and the leaders of both countries, daily.
Why not schedule a two hour time frame everyday to inform the citizens THAT CBS SUPPOSEDLY WORKS FOR!
And make sure you use captured rounds of 7.62mm. Use of 5.56mm would look suspicious.
60 Minutes was the father of "ambush journalism".
