>>I support a beefed up Border Patrol providing them support while requiring their effectiveness.<<

I don't recall asking if 'we should beef up the (FEDERAL)BP'. My question was "What is your position on forming State militia groups to maintain border security?"

Our government did not form state militia groups to enforce border security. Gilchrist's "Minuteman" are there almost as a protest to advertise the need to keep illegal immigrants from entering the U.S. Essentially, as a need to reduce crime.

The point of my initial posting is whether Mr. Gilchrist opposes the Iraq War. From members contributing information here, I've come to the conclusion the Mr. Gilchrist maintains the same "Howard Dean" liberal view of "I oppose the invasion while supporting the troops." Thus, Jim is a liberal similar to "flip flopping" on the issues to rally up votes.

A priority is the fight on terrorism! What is Gilchrist's stance on the Iraq War?

Why don't you tune into KDWN radio. Mr. Gilchrist is on quite often with Mark Edwards. I'm sure you will find your answers there. Jim is a former military man and is patriotic and supports our troops.

The previous post was at 08/27/2005 8:16:56 AM PDT by carenot. My post was at 8:49:46 AM PDT. That is a 33 minute time space. I had assumed that 'others' no longer found your replies interesting so I posted my questions.

If you wish to continue answering them, fine. If not, that is fine also, because you are the one running for office and the questions will remain for everyone to view. I am not going to repost them for you.

Allow me to make life a bit more simple and give you this link to my original questions.

By helping to energize their economy, less people would be trying to sneak into America to find work

That was what the talking heads promised with NAFTA. It was a lie then, and it's a lie now. The oligarchy in Mexico is never going to allow its peasants to succeed. Are you aware that Mexico is one of the richest countries around. More millionaires than Saudi Arabia.

Where have you been?

Closely reading your bomb throwing distortions of other FReepers who oppose a policy of acquiescence of illegal immigration over national security for the good of low wage carpetbaggers' bottom line, that's where.

Now, what's in this whole "immigration reform" for you? How many illegals do you hire on a daily basis, or are you just a walkin' boss for an immigration lobbyist, perhaps? It sure would be helpful to understand your position better if we knew your personal stake in all of this, but I seriously doubt you'll ever reveal that information.

I've read your profile page. Answer the question. What is your personal stake in allowing illegal immigrants to continue pouring across our borders?

Yes, Sir we recognize what the point of your original post is. You are attempting to give us reason to vote for you rather than Jim. Myself, I believe that if you want to debate Jim's stance on this forum then you should invite him to meet here at a specific date and time.

I am simply asking questions that I would ask anyone running for office who is going to be paid on my dime. The US Congress has more to deal with than the war in Iraq or the illegal alien situation as I am sure you are aware of, hence the previous questions.

"How many illegals do you hire on a daily basis, "

Again, read my profile page. It's all laid out in simple language for people like you who can't understand why I, along with President Bush, the RNC, the Republican Congressional leadership, the U.S. Cabinet and the Republican Governors, the Nationsal Chasmber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers and most conservatives support a guest worker program.

I have never hired an illegal alien.

. You will find that there is a close relationship between the anti-Iraq War crowd and the anti-immigrants crowd.

How do you get away with these lies? The only relationship to the Anti Iraq War crowd I see is you. You align with George Soros, Azatlan, ACLU and SPLC oh, and drug runners (your post!). Your hispanic anarchist friends are now bragging that Islamic snipers are being brought in to target the minutemen.

You have NO shame.

Mr Davis,

Are you aware that this is an employer/employee discussion. You are rquesting that we give you a four year contract as our representative in the US Congress.

It is my position that as your potential employer, you should be the one answering FR.com members questions. Derision of your competitors isn't the way to win this contract, Sir. Being truthful and open will do you much more benefit than harm.

Regards,
B4Ranch

Good, pertinent questions, B4.

I can see that the OBL is now trying to use the Iraq War as a "wedge issue" to try to shore up support in the Republican base for Bush's "ally ally in free!" borders insecurity policy. When bayourod crawls out from under his rock and won't post about anything else but a supposed "link" between border security/immigration enforcement advocates and Cindy Sheehan, you know it's panic time among Republican party hacks and OBL traitors.

It's all laid out in simple language for people like you who can't understand why I, along with President Bush, the RNC, the Republican Congressional leadership, the U.S. Cabinet and the Republican Governors,...

You left out the vast majority of Americans...oh, wait that's right, they DON'T AGREE with you, the President, the RNC, the Republican Congresional leadership, the U.S. Cabinet and the Republican Governors.

BTW, your profile page reads like cut and paste lobbyist talking points, so who signs your paycheck?

...and most conservatives support a guest worker program.

Not on this site, they don't. At least, not without some serious amending to the current plan and the muscle to back it up (sadly lacking thus far).

FR Poll Results:

Open Borders and Illegal Immigration

Guest Worker Program

Solving Illegal Immigration

Jim Gilchrist opposed the invasion of Iraq. That is liberal. I have supported the operation and troops "before, during, and after." BTW, I'm a veteran too.

>>you know it's panic time among Republican party hacks and OBL traitors.<<

They are beginning to understand that we may just do a "full" House and Senate cleaning in our quest for conservative patriots who believe the Oath of Office is not just mumbled words whilst their hand is on a Bible.

And still waiting for an answer from last night (unless I missed it and therefore I would apologize) as to any announced or potential political candidates on this thread, as to which of the THREE MAIN IMMIGRATION CONTROL PLANS before the US Congress (which candidates seek to become a member of), they are in support of.

I am unaware! What is your source informing you that Mexico has more millionaires than Saudi Arabia? What is producing these wealthy Mexicans with their money???
