First, you don't fight all fires with water--if you do, you'll have a much worse fire than what you started with.
Second, "not stooping to ___ level" is a really poor argument that has been used by losing sides since time began. Evil must be rooted out by whatever means are at hand. Sometimes it means doing things like dropping nuclear bombs on Japan; at others it might mean eavesdropping on the enemy. In both of these examples, if we had not done these things, the good guys would have lost and civilization would be much worse for it.
Relax. It's a time honored tradition........gathering intel on your foes via subterfuge and espionage. Best way to know your enemies' secrets.

I don't think it's wrong. It's actually an important thing that we know their real agenda. They want it secret, right? Why? Because it is war; because it is underhanded; because it is destructive. I regard espionage highly. Wish I could open that file, tho -- it doesn't work on my Windows Media.

The fact that deception is needed to get the truth from the left is an indicator of the inherit dishonesty of the left . The fact that the fifth columnists that have hijacked Cindy Sheahans exercise in dementia are willing to tell any lie to attack the morale /fighting spirit of the armed forces & the folks at home is without question.
