Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I'm in MD - had to hold down the for here for the WRAMC Freep last night. Am working on loading photos of that at the same time as I am following this.

Well, that weren't much. Ted's wife is a pretty lady, though. I can't be there with you most excellent of freepers, and I can't hang with the computer and TV all day, or I won't get anything done, but you all are in my thoughts and prayers. You have the gratitude of thousands of us who can't be there. FREEP ON!!!!

There is a lady on a horse carrying a flag. Nugent's wife may give a talk. Basil says she is involved with an Angel program at Camp ????. That is when we lost our connection. Could still hear music in the background.
Thanks for starting this thread, TXBubba. I would give anything to be in Crawford as the Move America Forward caravan pulls in. I got goosebumps just reading your post--what a beautiful sight it must be. I was glad to hear about your air-conditioned facility and hope that our freeper who had cancer surgery last week and who will be there, will be directed to it.
Ted Nugent's wife (they are residents of Crawford) just talked to Brian Williams on FNC and said the protestors have targeted "latch key kids". That when they come home from school, knock on the door and ask to use their bathroom and shower!
Also that some of the residents who have complained about the protestors have received death threats. Not that this behavior is unexpected--what a bunch of creeps.
FR is becoming incredibly slow. I hope it doesn't crash with all the hits it's sure to generate!

Funny how all these things have been going to but no Pro Ditch Witch people have been arrested but some Pro Bush guy gets arrested because he won't move back where the police tell him to. Seems a little one-sided to me.
