Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.

If I owned a restaurant, I'd print two receipts for customers Pro-cindy, and pro-Qualls, and ask the customer to choose which camp will get a small portion of their check donated to it at no additional cost to the customer.
Then you can see who's who, and how much they tip. If you wanna know.
Soul Seeker, your post is right on the money. The media is irrelevant....those who went to Crawford today, did so because they love their country, our troops and our President. I'm guilty...I've been so annoyed at Fox....but, you put it right into perspective. Better to do something postive and pro-active than be reactive and angry at Fox. Thanks for the wake up call.

Ok. I'm exhausted, my feet are blistered, my face is burned, my eyes are red and dry, my mouth feels like cotton, her hands are numb, I'm light headed, I'm hungry as hell....
.... and I'm glad. I did it because our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers and so many other loved ones have it SO MUCH WORSE just so we can enjoy the RIGHT to feel like rag dolls and collapsed puppets at the end of a day fighting for THEIR memories and THEIR future!

True but this was a support the troops rally and an anti cindy rally. The crowd initially knocked the signs out of their hands and they fell to the ground. The crowd was standing on the signs so they could not be picked up. The protesters left. I picked up the one sign and because of its size started to tear the paper from it and when I did the frenzy from others started, thats when the media started all the pics. The sign I tore up said" War never solves anything" in very large letters and in small letters "unless a democrat is president" . The signs took away fromm the moments that was on the stage at the time, real bad timing.
