Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I have called and written them a couple of emails as well. I'm really disappointed that they are not showing this live. I agree that Katrina is important, but they are showing lots of other coverage on other stories, I just don't understand why FNC of all channels would not cover this. I understand CNN and MSNBC not really showing it -- they are openly in Cindy's camp. But I'm really disappointed in FNC, and I have called and written to let them know it.

The MSM can't ignore the counter-protesting patriots. There are 10,000 MSM reporters there shilling for Sheehan at "Camp Casey", and now they have another voice. It must be very unnerving for them.
I just called fox again and told them after being a faithful listener since I was able to get them on cable (several years ago) I was turning them off - - if they can't support our troops - I'm not supporting them. And would tell my family and friends to do the same. I also told them they needed to change their tag line from Fair and Balanced as it was false advertising. I'm really ticked right now.

That is the typical M.O. of this evil bitch. She and her commie admirers will try and walk into any of our rallies and counter demos, because she knows that's how to get press coverage. And she wants to start a confrontation - to make our side look like we're violent.
And that's why I didn't mince my words when I described her above.

I agree, yes, BUT why can't they show the Rally for 15mins? The puppy story took precedents over the Troop rally...sad! Katrina is taking it's time, the rally happening NOW. All we ask is for some fair play, that's all.
I hear you and people do need to be warned; however, they are also running a lot of inane stories that don't need to be run right now.
