Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I disagree, CNN has been flailing Pat Robertson for 5 days now with no let up in sight.

After witnessing the event at WRAMC last night, I was hoping for coverage of Crawford today, but all that was reported was one of "allegedly" our own being arrested.
Yes, it is frustrating that all we have heard or seen for weeks now, are the ditch squatters. Today and last night the conservatives and American patriots are coming out in vast numbers, and there is still no coverage.

Thanks for those reports. Very little Crawford doings on tv today due to the hurricane. It's knocked everything off. Take care those of you there and try to get pics, especially of the white supremacists with their tats showing (hopefully it'll be too hot for them to wear long sleeves for long). I want to see one of them hugging Cindy! :)

I disagree. The last thing we need is for the MSM to paint us as loud and obnoxious, like the Cindy Sheehan supporters. I hope that those respresenting us and our views will not choose to have a confrontation with Cindy Sheehan, but rather show a respectful display of support for our troops, their mission and our President. :)

I think you make a very good point, in fact if there was live coverage right now who would see it anyway, a relative SMALL number of folks are watching anything but sports on Saturday afternoon, let's see if it makes the evening MSM newz.
Freepers ands Move America Forward have been innundating the media with information about this rally for many days now. And people on the ground in Crawford say there is LOTS of media on site.
As far as holding off until Monday, don't forget that the folks on our side are working people who have jobs and other commitments during the week, unlike the professional protesters that make up the leftist rabble hanging onto Sheehan (many of whom are collecting dope money by sitting in the Texas sun for the MSM to film). There's just no way we could hope to have anything near the turnout we have today on Monday.
So yes, the MSM is biased enough to ignore this counter-protest. They do this every year anyway, when a million pro-lifers brave DC in January to mark the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade on the National Mall.
LGF has coverage but nobody can access cell connections from Crawford so sending pics at this stage is just beyond the satellite capabilities. Lines are jammed. Probably they'll start to show up later tonight.

Come on, did you expect live coverage in depth? Let's just see how much makes the MSM newz. Sat afternoon live TV is sports or disaster driven, that's about it.
