You need to donate money. The logistics of millions of people sending 'things' is only going to contribute to more problems.

Money I can do but having lived through the flooding from Floyd here, I know that food and clothing that were donated to local charities got to victims much faster than stuff from the National Aid organizations (who did a very good job but didn't get here in force until well after the disaster).

I was just wondering if any local organizations needed "stuff", if all they want is money, that is fine too.

So let's talk about where to donate.

Red Cross has the biggest presence, but I don't trust them too much since 9/11 business.

I usually trust the Salvation Army, but this link says they're going to send in canteens...now how is that going to happen.
