Astonishing Exclusive From Mississippi [hundreds if not thousands dead]
Paramedic Rescue Operation | 8-31-05 | My Favorite Headache

Posted on 08/30/2005 10:10:45 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

It is with heavy heart I write this...

I have finally reconnected with my best friend who is a paramedic who was sent from Georgia 2 days ago to Gulf Port, Mississippi before the hurricane hit.

He just reached me within the last 10 mins via emergency cell phone to tell me he was alive.

Thousands of bodies have been discovered throughout Mississippi in Gulf Port, Waveland,Hancock County,Bay of St.Louis.

They are hanging in trees and they are pulling them out 30 at a time. Entire families found drowned in their homes and washing up on shore.

The stories he could tell me were brief. National Guard is on the scene and arresting anyone seen on the streets.

The numbers are staggering and what I have been told tonight will shake people to their foundation as the numbers will be coming out in the next 24-hours of just how many people have actually perished in these and 3 other beach communities.

More to follow....

"They never opened the inbound lanes to outbound traffic. Did you see the pictures. You could have driven 70mph on the inbound lanes. No one was heading into town. Major failure government failure in that one."

I noticed that too . . .

Slidell. We are still waiting to hear of one of our family members, sis & bil who live on the lake side of Slidell. Last anyone heard was Sat night - they were going to wait and see.
You say there is a thread for Slidell?

"Some of the predictions about a New Or hurricane a year or so ago mentioned God's displeasure with the voodoo in the area as well as a lot of other demonic forces facilitating routine goings on there.

Who said that and based on what data?

They had one hundred in the Biloxi, Gulfport area alone earlier today. On TV they were scrolling 80 as if it were a combination of the states. So I knew they didn't want to put out the numbers.

I used to be stationed in Pascagoula and my husband at Keesler AFB in Biloxi. When I saw the footage this morning...I couldn't recognize anything at all. My uncle who works off a rig out of Louisiana is lost... I know they let them go early, so who knows where he is.

No point in speculating, but my guess is that many thousands died in this storm, when the final accounting is done. If I am wrong, nothing would delight me more.

Ya...that was over the top...but

Maybe the 24/7 coverage has got me nauseated...

On the other hand...when the dust settles...the boom will be incredible...

Think of the opportunity, not the tragedy that now exists...(capitalist pig alert)

I am a two time cancer survivor...breathing is optional for most...and reserved for those who take care of themselves and don't do incredibly stupid things like hangin out in the wake of CAT 5 Hurricane....calloused I am...(Guilty)

The capper was seeing all the looters...Humans leave alot to be desired...

I hope everyone has stopped by the Red Cross site:

http://www.redcross.org/

Take the Red Cross off your donation list.

or the Salvation Army:

http://www.salvationarmyusa.org/

to donate what they can

I'm saddened to hear this news, I remember early on in the storm the NWS (or some agency) had issued a statement that estimates of 40,000 to 50,000 dead could be a reality. Many poo-pooed that number as too high. I fear this may have come true...

Those numbers sound about right to me, based on the estimate of 30% of the population having not evacuated, and how many have been pulled out thus far.

A tragedy of the highest order indeed.

Why would the terrorists want to strike at a time which would *lessen* the impact of their attack, and possibly even make it look paltry in comparison? Would the terrorists really want the American public to conclude, "oh well, terrorism sucks, but natural disasters are a bigger threat..."?

I think you are correct in that the media coverage fuels most terrorist acts, however their main objective is to destroy America. If they were prepared (and that's a big IF, since I think most of their energy is thankfully directed at stopping Iraq from becoming a democratic country), they could seek to further damage the US economy.

I feared but totally expected this. The death toll will reach many thousands, maybe tens of thousands.

As did I. I was part of the clean up process following Hurricane Camille. The level of devastation after that storm defied description. Then and now. Everything from Gulfport to Pass Christian. If it was near the coast, it was totally destroyed.

Katrina rivaled Camille in so many ways. I was afraid of this. Even when preliminary reports indicated the area might have dodged a bullet.

God have mercy on the survivors.

When the cell towers loses commercial power.. it has at the most a handful of hours of battery back up. Then you have to haul a generator out to the site. With a big fuel bladder.

"Why oh why didn't they leave when the government told them to? I'm serious. At a certain point you just feel sorry for the kids that were forced to die because the parents don't like to be told what to do.

Give me a break, please. What are you talking about? Other than the party people (few I bet), People make/take calculated risks. Maybe they didn't understand all of the risks or consequences, but to trivialize their lives or to assume that they didn't care about "the kids" is just dumb. No, I'm sorry, stupid.

Am humbled by your words. I don't know that I've commented per se on this hurricane from my perspective.

I've posted the prophetic docs and suggested that at least some of the prophetic sources may well be more right than wrong.

But then the usual list of naysayers attacked and that was that.

I think my sense of this hurricane is that IT IS AN INTRODUCTION TO A SERIES OF INCREASINGLY HORRID DISASTERS. I don't know whether the prophetic sources are entirely right about more coming in the next few months or not. I believe or feel in my bones that we will have 3-4 or more such and much worse between now and the end of January. I HOPE I'M WRONG.

I just have a deeper feeling of stronger intensity in my gut regarding such potentials than has been the case before.

I have prayed that God would warn people in ways that were unmistakenly HIM and which minimized loss of life.

But I've had a thought--God has made things more clear to those who love Him and seek earnestly to follow Him. THEY WILL SEE HIS WARNING AND JUDGMENT whether others do, or not.

And, yet for those rebels, the message will be so coarse or ambiguous or generic or "fate" ful or some such which will allow them to deny that God has any message in it for them. God has done so with disasters throughout the last 5,000+ years. I gather He has not changed His style in such matters.

He humbles the great and especially the pride of man.

He's also fiercely against blatant demonic evil as well as demonic and otherwise rebellion against His priorities and standards.

I feel He has already cocked many big guns and will be firing them off to bring the proud in America to their knees and millions to repentance before the globalist things get EVEN MUCH, MUCH, MUCH WORSE from what MAY be coming in the short term.

I just hope prayer can delay and lessen the intensity but I have an increasing feeling that more and more--such possibilities are fast fading into the past.

I have a High School reunion Friday. I'm planning to print up some prophetic warnings and have them available for those who are interested.

This era, this year, these months are serious, folks. God is serious.

We trash Israel's Covenant lands and give God the finger in a list of ways and think we can get by with business as usual? NO WAY.

Anyway--ocean, I know you know all this. But many don't. And many won't believe until it's way too late as it may already be.

I think several thousand may be dead, but I've been cutting Louisiana out of my comments above. If I were forced to venture a guess, I would guess 600-800 in Mississippi and 2000+ in Louisiana. It may be much higher; I'll just be shocked if it is.

I hope it's even less than I'm guessing.
