My dog Lola is getting very upset and insulted at all these references to animals! She makes a good point when she says her animal buddies do not loot or shoot their siblings.
Lola would prefer the term" monstors", not animals.

You are right. In San Francisco in 1989, the Loma Prieta Earthquake brought out looters and wackos all over the place.
For months, many of us couldn't sleep well at night, each aftershock causing us to relive that experience. These vicims will probably endure months of all sorts of strange behavior and/or health problems, from psychosis to bedwetting, no doubt.
