I don't get it.

This is supposed to be a political debate forum, but I never see any substantial debate at all.

I saw a post earlier today that seemed like a reasonable (and mild) criticism and it was deleted.

Then it happened again. There was a small post that seemed like it was reasonable enough and it was deleted.

The terms of service says that Free Republic doesn't censor its posts, but thats what it looks like to me.

One: the debate is between elements of the right, not right/left.

Two: excellent lack of substantive discussion.

Three: post deletion is not censorship, as censorship is the editing out of information, not the complete denial of expression.

Four: go back to DU.

Removing posts due to serial repeat retreads is not 'censorship'.

Moderators do delete posts all the time. This forum isn't about informed debate. This forum is about people with the same point of view who do not tolerate dissent. If you go to so called liberal sites you will see numerous people jump in with conservative points of view. Here you are gone and your priviledges revoked. Just like 1950's Russia. The word commie is tossed around quite a bit too.
