I saw some people getting off choppers holding their pets and carrying pet taxis. Apparently only some were enforcing a stupid order.

Great, thanks
that's true , I read a news report about a Golden Retriever that was permitted on a bus going to Houston....howver I believe that Snowball and little boy will be united.....keep the faith
katrinafoundpets.com is reporting that Snowball has not been found.
No rest for Snowball--no rest for the little boy and no rest for those here who want to see them reunited...maybe tomorrow.
Carolyn
Yes, they are a part of the family. For many children, they are a best friend. For many who don't have children or whose children have gone, they are they are like their children, and for people who live alone, a pet may be their only companion. While I can understand the logistics problems and the priorties, many times it is just callousness or a lack of recognition how much a pet means to a lot of these folks. Why make their suffering worse by taking away the one thing that might offer some small comfort in a sea of anguish?
Not to mention, the child.
BUMP for continued hope for a happy ending
