A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos) - 9.6.05

President Bush had a very busy day today, meeting with Secretary of Education, Margaret Spellings and First Lady Laura Bush, to discuss the educational needs of children displaced by Hurricane Katrina and how states might be able to absorb the cost of the large numbers of new students. He also met with the Cabinet to discuss the recovery efforts following the hurricane, and reuniting family members with each other, healthcare provision and finances.

At noon, the President met with representatives from national voluntary organizations to discuss how best to help the Americans who are evacuees from the hurricane. He pledged a full investigation into the response to the hurricane.

The President and First Lady also paid their respects to the late Chief Justice of the United States, William Rehnquist, spending a few moments bowing their heads at his casket.

Continue to pray for the President and the people in the ravaged Gulf Coast region, and enjoy this island of refuge from the blind attacks against our GOOD President on the Daily Dose!

Indeed and I am pleased to see tonight more and more truth coming out on FNC showing how the blame for the chaos lies at the Mayor and Governor's feet.

Mine was that the whole of our postal code lost our cable TV service and if you have a LAN cable through the same box then of course you loose your broadband internet connection as well. It was off from about 1.00am till 10.00am yesterday.

I just love the photo you put on the toaster. I meant to comment on it yesterday. What a great picture! GWB sitting on those people's bed, kind smile on his face. Love it!

Thanks for the Dose tonight, Ohio. I have not gone to a bash Bush thread in two days and I am soooo happy!

This President, his wife, family, and those he surrounds himself with always make me feel safe!

Good evening, mystery. Glad to hear Charles was better today.

Sometimes I get so frustrated with Fox. Then I tune in to one of the "other" channels and it cures me for a good long time. I need an occasional refresher course on how things were without FNC.

It is a wonderful photo I also liked the ones of the President and First Lady at the Red Cross Center in Washington on Sunday. They listened intently and were so unassuming the one with Laura leaning on the desk top so natural they are a wonderful couple a fine example not only to your country but to the world of how one should conduct oneself.

Laura has got a slightly glazed look in this picture, that I often see when I start explaining computers too much to 'normal' people.
