I sent this to my daughters who are in Richmond. I can't get there from where I am, but maybe they can!
Hey there, Gummy!!!!!!!!!
I can't get there either - but I sure can keep this bumped up!!!!!!!
Hiya, Gabz!! How's the ankle??? Are you doing any walking, yet?
AWESOME is a great description!!!!!!!!!!!
The ankle is getting better, thanks for asking. I'm able to do a bit more standing on my own 2 feet, but still can't walk without the crutches. the physical therapist is happy with my progress, considering it was exactly 2 months ago tonight that I did it (I did it on a Friday, but it was the 8th).
The lack of mobility is the major part of my being unable to get to Williamsburg for the rally. But I'll be there in spirit.
Well, if you & hubby aren't coming to the Rally I'll have break down and buy my own smokes.
Thanks for doing this Gabz.
ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cute choice of words :)
Hubby is working that day (gotta take the OT when offered) and I haven't been cleared to drive yet....not that I could make that drive on my own - too many bridges and tunnels and I don't like tunnels.
Yep, since it's crucial to walking, it's one break that takes some major healing before walking on it. It really puts a wrench in the cogs of life, doesn't it?
I concur!
I'm not doing anything, but sitting here typing.........it's you folks who are doing all the hard work. I thank you for it!!!!!
Thanks for the ankle update. I was just about to Freepmail you and saw the report. Not much longer, hang in there!
Yes, it does........I sure have learned that the hard way this summer.
It's little the things we just take for granted that are so difficult to do.........like letting the dogs out, which I just did........
