Al-Qaeda Sets 24 Hour Deadline for a Chemical Attack
Zaman ^

Posted on 09/12/2005 5:10:46 AM PDT by jmc1969

As the US and Iraqi forces continue their week long occupation in Tel Afer, an al-Qaeda linked organization has threatened for a chemical attack if the operation is not ended within 24 hours.

An Internet notice from Abu Musab al-Zarqawi from the Iraqi division of al-Qaeda and other organizations like Ansar al-Sunnah said, “If the Tel Afer operation does not end in 24 hours, Ceyh al-Taif al-Mansura military office has decided to organize attacks towards important and strategic targets of the occupation and Iraqi forces using chemical weapons developed by the Mujaheeden.”

Zarqawi condemned the occupation in Tel Afer and called on insurgents to take up arms.

“Those who had been defeated many times reside in Tel Afar where they have tasted defeat and pain,” Zarqawi challenged in the tape recording broadcast on an Internet site.

A nut case will jump out from behind a hut holding a can of Raid. He'll spray a bit into the air and run. The Arab press will report it as a great victory with thousands of American soldiers dead. They will claim that there is no news of it in the world press because the Americans are trying to hide it.

The Arabs will dance in the street for the great victory over Satan

I will explain what they really meant to say; "If you don't stop kicking our butts, we are going to get really mad. And when we get really mad we will whine and yell in hopes that you will do what we want. We are after all fighting behind a bunch of women and children, so we are not very brave."

"We have a new gas attack planned and it will use our soiled underpants, because we are really scared hiding from you bombs."

If these thugs do mount a chemical attack on our troops, or any other attack using WMD's, it will give us the reason to step up the level of force and finally put an end these guys once and for all. No more pussyfooting around. Go ahead Zarqawi, make our day!

Syria and Iran, please pay attention to the next few days in Iraq......

"From your lips to God's ears....". But unfortunately, neither true nor accurate.

1. We are not in a Congressionally declared war in Iraq.

2. We have far too many liberals in powerful and influential positions that will stop or prevent or seriously water down a correct and vital response.

But it's a nice thought....

It won't matter to the MSM that chemicals could be used. They will simply say they were brought in because we are there, not that they have been there the whole time. Be prepared to take it back to all the alphabet news.

So, Zarqawi, you are telling us that this place is where you terrorist loosers go to lick their wounds and sulk, but they are somehow going to rise up and mount a mighty battle? LMAO! With some old chemical weapons of Saddams you found which are a couple years past their expiry date? Bring it on fool. All you will do is prove Saddam had WMD hidden.

Since this is a continuation of the original conflict, then I don't see the problem!

Why make claims like this?  His support cannot be too strong in Iraq right now and this threat, which probably is BS, makes him look even weaker.  Sounds like a baseless, last ditch effort to me.

I think it is about time that we start manufacturing munitions that incorporate a drop of pigs blood within the projectiles. They believe that if they die contaminated by the unclean blood of swine there will be no Allah and no VW Microbus full of virgins and we should use that belief to our advantage.

There is a story that General Pershing once put down an arab uprising by digging a pit and slaughtering 100 pigs in it. Then he lined up 100 arab captives along the edge of the pit and shot 99 of them face down in the pig offal. The last captive he released to go and tell his buds what he had witnessed. There were no more arab uprisings in the area for 50 years.

I don't know if the story is true or not, but my bet is that there would be no "martyrs" stepping up for a glorious death if it involved being soiled with pig's blood.

Well, if this was news yesterday, shouldn't the 24 hours be up already?  Unless, of course, the tape was made 2 days ago, in which case the 24 hours would have expired 24 hours ago.  Or they filmed it 3 days ago, in which the 24 hours ...

I'm getting dizzy.

Sounds like the Iraqi military operation (supported by the US) is striking a nerve, and doing significant damage to the terrorist network.

Zarqueeri should be complaining to the head of Syria and for Syria to export WMD's to Iraq for terrorist use...
