I cannot say what I would like to see happen to these people that would lock up children like this.

I'm familiar with the concept "Mommy and Daddy are tired", but I think this couple set a new standard.

I would think that foster parents were checked out a little better than this...
To: Nov3
I hardly think foster children would be allowed to be home schooled. We have friends that have foster kids and they can homeschool their own 4 children but the foster kids have to attend the public school. It has something to do with state laws.

Why do I get the disturbing thought that these will be classified as "homeschooled" children? But...if humans are just a more complexly evolved animal - why does it offend so much?
oh that's right, we as humans are fearfully and WONDERFULLY made in God's image and as such should treat and be treated to a higher standard.
Stories like this just about push me over the edge.

This is insane. . .
How about a picture of the house. . .in a neighborhood - people maybe 'thinking' something strange - or is did this family live in total isolation?
Will we hear they had been investigated for possible child abuse multiplie times. . .but some Lib social worker kept losing the files; or imagining things not bad here. .
What has really happened here; beyond sick, bain-dead; drug-mind-adults in charge of children. . .
A reality with all the attributes of really bad fiction. . .
Did they ever need a plumber. . .an electrician?
No visiting in-laws?

looking into possible charges of abuse and neglect.
I'd hate to think the authorities were rushing into things without thinking it through........
sarcasm off
this kind of thing makes my blood boil and I don't need to be anywhere near those so called "foster parents".

Why do I get the disturbing thought that these will be classified as "homeschooled" children?Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler said the children had various disabilities, including autism.
They were special Ed. That's usually covered by the state, too, in order to collect social security payments for them.

Next time I'll make the sarcasm a little heavier for your benefit. Maybe you ought to - I went to regular school.

From further down in the article--
......A children's services investigator saw one of the children in a cage Friday, Sommers said. The sheriff's office obtained a warrant and returned to the house that evening and removed the children.
....... County Prosecutor Russell Leffler said the children had various disabilities, including autism.
There must be a special place in Hades for these two.
How come it took so long for children's services to catch this?

You'll have to make it heavier for mine, too. I also put the emphasis on the wrong words. Sorry.
