14 year old boys definitely lie about sex (although from what I read, they don't need to lie nearly as much as we did when I was 14), but I don't see a 14 year old going to the police and making this up.

I don't know how much you have seen about this case, but there has been a lot of evidence released, including the transcripts of phone calls with between the boy and LaFave which were recorded by the police. Reading them, where she tacitly admits to having sex with the boy and then tries to arrange future meetings, is sickening.
She lost her "right to privacy" when she dropped to her knees in that classroom and sexually abused this boy. She is fair game in the media. Certainly there have been innocent people who have had their lives ruined by false allegations, but she ain't one of them.

So did I. And when I drove past the school a month ago to show my son where I grew up, they were still standing. They look like the same ones. (What is the definition of "portable" again?)
