Where I went to school they were all wearing habits.

There was one, as I recall, that was good looking by any standards.

"Hillsborough County might make Abu Ghraib look like the non-event of the century."

YIKES! Based on what you say, it sounds pretty bad. Interesting the guy who took the "42 slugs" that's the same number of times that guy in NYC, who was innocent, got shot also. But, I venture to say NYC is a much more dangerous, and certainly much larger, place.

I will continue to avoid Hillsborough County.

I live in NYC now. My experience is that I'd rather deal with NYPD than any law enforcement operation in Florida. You ought to avoid Pinellas County, too.

The NYPD is an excellent police force. Without a doubt the best of any of the big city police forces.

Whereas those I've dealt with in Florida -- and not just law enforcement, but also lawyers and the judiciary system, have proven to be arrogannt, power-drunk, disrespectful pricks with chips on their shoulders. I can think of one -- ONE -- exception in nearly 20 years.
