Not one word about their interview or Dean or Koppel.

Of course not.......because the reaction of those real Americans in the Astrodome doesn't fit in with the MSM's agenda to ......BLAME BUSH ALL THE TIME!

Don't worry, the MSM will relentlessly canvass the NOLA refugess until they find a Bush bashing cadre, however unrepresentative.

LOL....anyone with any brains knows the truth...it was local and state officials that let those citizens down. The incompetence of LA officials was blaring in alls face. No matter how hard the MSM trys [guess they've forgotten the 2 yrs of non-stop Bush attack and he still won president] will not come close to changing peoples minds who're the culpruits of the evac disaster.

You must be listening to FOX news and Rush Limbaugh for a more conservative broadcast.

I agree with you except for one point. My neighber is in the town that was hit with the direct hit, Slidell. The eye passed right over our town.

My neighbor was and is foolish to think that a storm like this is something to play with. He was very lucky.

Our house is three miles from Lake Pontchartrain, and the flooding extended to less than a mile away from my home. Too close for my comfort, I'll tell you that.

This morning I tried to drive by the home that my parents sold last year, two miles from my house. I couldn't access the area. It gave me a sickening feeling to see that neighborhood so hard hit. You could tell the lake just invaded those homes.

Reynolds (ABC): “Did you harbor any anger toward the President because of the slow federal response?”

London: “No, none whatsoever, because I feel like our city and our state government should have been there before the federal government was called in. They should have been on their jobs.”

Reynolds: “And they weren't?”

London: “No, no, no, no. Lord, they wasn't. I mean, they had RTA buses, Greyhound buses, school buses, that was just sitting there going under water when they could have been evacuating people.”

Thanks for the heads up on this thread, StarFan!

Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my ‘miscellaneous’ ping list.

I watched a rather frantic Rita Cosby on PMSNBC, right after speech, interviewing a black NO sheriff. The first thing she says is, "what part of the speech did you disagree with most". He goes on whining about hw he can't communicate with feds. etc. Then she got three other anti-Bush blacks to whine. What a charade.

I saw that too. Cosby had assembled a whole group of whiners there.

Besides the N.O. policeman, she had a couple of N.O. city councilmen (oh yeah, that's a balanced perspective) and a businessman.

Essentially they were all complaining that Bush hadn't greased their palms with enough $$$ yet.

It was the businessman who got me the most. This loser was complaining that President Bush hadn't awarded HIM any federal recon$truction contract$ yet -- while in the same breath, he complained that his business had been "completely destroyed."

watch for ABC to run the angle that bush is trying to take power away from the states. my guess is they'll run a slant piece that makes bush look like he's saying that local gov't can't be trusted and he should take all the power. which of course will make DUmmies cry "hitler" and "nazi" again.

Instead of denouncing Bush and blaming him for their plight, they praised Bush and blamed local officials. Reynolds asked Connie London: "Did you harbor any anger toward the President because of the slow federal response?" She rejected the premise: "No, none whatsoever, because I feel like our city and our state government should have been there before the federal government was called in.” She pointed out: “They had RTA buses, Greyhound buses, school buses, that was just sitting there going under water when they could have been evacuating people."

Excatly. It's those types that the Rev. Jacksons drool over:
