In Los Angeles, KABC 7 showed an evacuated family living up in Lancaster. The first person they put on bashed Bush from the get-go...I had a feeling he had been waiting BEFORE the speech to have his say. But the other four people were neutral to pro Bush, and nearly all of them blames the state and local government.
They all said they would never go back.

The Baton Rouge paper (theadvocate.com) has a really depressing lead story. It's about the people at the shelter who refused to even watch the speech. It's Bush bashing beginning to end.

On radio here in Phoenix, Rush just called ABC's Nightline show "a major-league big media backfire." He has just roasted ABC for trying to set up an angry group of evacuees who would attack bush, but instead the group attacked Nagin and Blanco. Ho ho ho ho, he he he he, haaaaaahhh! Now this is hilarious.
