Just a little question posed to the forum: What are your suggestions for activities the United American Committee may do to help stop Islamic terror in America and protect the American people? FYI The UAC focuses on confronting the Islamic extremist threat in the U.S., we'd like to know the peoples thoughts on activities and direction:

You are obviously also missing some news: We're closing some of our bases in Germany much to their chagrin.

My point is that CLinton did stuff regardless of what the 'right' thing was, and the Balkans were an issue he shouldn't have gotten involved in but thought he could manipuilate to his advantage.

And I agree completely with you on Clinton's adventures in the Balkans - we never should have gotten into it. But I wholly and completely supported the troops. I had a good friend who went over as part of Virginia's 29th ID - he was the Regimental Engineer. Was happy he made it home safely.

Barbary Pirates, Quasi War, those could be termed interfering in the 'affairs' of other nations.
Point is, pulling our troops out of everywhere is not strategically sound, nor wise.
We do have interests overseas, and not having troops within a few hours transport distance of possible trouble spots is a bad idea.

I completely agree. The first place to start is to stop pushing multiculturalism in the schools. We have gone from a melting pot to a smorgasbord. Victor Davis Hanson's book Mexifornia applies to the Muslim immigrants (or any immigrants) the same way it does to Hispanics.
Review of book: America, the great melting pot, has welcomed millions of immigrants in its 227 years. But gone are the days when immigrants eagerly assimilated, urged by teachers and government officials. Hanson notes thatin the good ol' days an Italian or Jew knew that if he did not take up English and the American system, he would be left behind while his peers moved ahead. When Hanson was in school his teachers instilled in all students a sense of personal possibility, taught them a love of country, and gave them the tools to learn. For immigrant children, failure to assimilate meant a career in fruit picking and a place in the underclass.
Today, however, that is not the case. A separatist culture exists and is encouraged by intellectual elites, the multiculturalists, and politicians from both parties. Multiculturalists have hijacked classrooms in order to teach self-esteem building, among other things.
America's most inspiring figures, like Thomas Jefferson or Robert E. Lee, however, are vilified or completely overlooked. One cannot instill confidence, Hanson rightly notes, by glorifying other cultures at the expense of deleting references to the dynamism and morality of American civilization. The people seeking haven here need to know why our country is great in order to appreciate what we have.
Besides, I do not have - and have not heard - a more practical or pracicable solution. We cannot, realistically or practically, wipe out every Muslim on earth, or every terrorist on earth.
Boycott the MSM and tell them shut up and let the military win this war and get it over with.

I was going to say the same thing but there are terrorist cells all over this country sitting quietly and waiting for the right moment. The key is we can't give them the right moment.
