More proof, as if any was needed, that the Democratic Party is a criminal enterprise.

Excellent! This will help Steele.

He shouldn't bring it up himself, that would look too 'whiny', but EVERY SINGLE SURROGATE should yell this at the top of their lungs every single time they talk on his behalf. It will be a big asset to him.

That's a good idea. And when surrogates bring it up, they should never miss a chance to say "Watergate tactics."

Where is Glendumming, our Mont. County Exec. condeming this? Man, he was all over the place when an Erlich aide was caught making up stories. Now we got two DSCC guys committing felonies...and not a peep.

I wonder how many other Republicans have had their credit histories examined by their "opponents"?

Chip Franklin spent more than an hour on this today on WBAL. He mentioned MD4Bush and how the Sun and the Post were involved with that. He even commented that [he believes that] the identity of MD4Bush will be made known during the race for Governor.

If you read previous threads you will see that he was NOT making up stories. Still waiting to find out who set him up.

Actually it indeed was an Erlich administration employee that was promoting rumors about Mayor Martin O'Malley (Dem) of Baltimore. This guy was passing stories over a web forum of some sort. He's gone now. That was in bad taste. Fraudulently obtaining a credit report is in violation of law.

And to that previous poster the Montgomery County Exec is Doug Duncan. Duncan and O'Malley are the two most prominent aspirants to governor that will be fighting it out in the dem primary next year.

It appears at present that Governor Erlich will be looking for a new running mate because of the likely candidacy of Lt Gov Michael Steele for the Senate seat being vacated by Paul Sarbanes.

As a political researcher I can tell you that this is illegal. Many times I would have loved to do the same but as a Republican I couldn't. Democrat researchers don't have that problem. They are not ethically hard wired.
