Suppose she'll say it is because he didn't answer questions?

She'll vote no. O'Conner's replacement is "_____ is out of touch with the mainstream and will be a step backwards for women, minority rights." All she needs is the blank filled in.

Now that Feinstein and Clinton are voting NO, I wonder if Ann Coulter is going to reverse herself and conclude that Roberts is pretty good afterall. That last piece she wrote gave me the impression that the only reason she opposed Roberts is that the Dems were not resisting him.

Dick Morris opined on Hannity's radio show yesterday that some Dems would vote no to protect themselves in case Roberts tries to overturn Row. And others would vote yes on Roberts to give themselves the option of voting no" emphatically on the O'Conner replacement.

FWIW.

me thinks that Ms Hillary is in trouble (already?)in her race for the presidency if she has to be shoring up her liberal base like this. it will make appealing to the right on the national stage later virtually impossible.

"I have an obligation to my constituents to make sure that I cast my vote for Chief Justice of the United States for someone I am convinced will be steadfast in protecting fundamental women's rights, civil rights, privacy rights"

Uhm....Where in the Constitution are these fundamental rights found?

It does kind of tarnish her "moderate" image, though.

As does her decision to meet with Mother Moonbat.

Run to the Left, Run to the Right.
Stand up!
Sit down!

The Arkansas Grifters are positioning Slickette as a "moderate"?
They are positioning her as a bigger Flip=flopper than Mr. Swift Boat himself.

So nice of Hillary to stand up for all of those virtues which don't actually exist in the Constitution or any other founding documents (at least, not in this country).
