Update: Counter-protesting the Barking Moonbats in Riverside on Sept. 23

This is an update for today's scheduled counter-protest of the Riverside Area Peace Justice Action (RAPJA) group. For more info about RAPJA go to: http://www.rapja.org

The counter-rally is ON and we will be meeting at Iowa and University in Riverside at 5:30 pm. Area College Republicans and GOP clubs will be on-site as well as ProtestWarrior.com members.

In addition, I will be crashing another peacenik rally in nearby Hemet this afternoon from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This gathering is put on by the Hemet Neighbors for Peace. Link to their site at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HemetPeace/

We have lots of signs ready for Friday. Heart felt thanks to the people who spent hours making signs. Are you ready to come out and join us? There is some shade on this corner so it will be pleasant afternoon.

We will have a short meeting before we step out on the pavement. If you have something you want to read, a short speech, a poem, a song or a prayer, bring it with you. Also, if you are musically talented and want to teach us a song, bring about 20 copies of the words so we can join you (oh, surely there will be more than twenty of us, but we like to stand close to each other and share…J).

Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry isn't behind the anti war crowd needs to get a clue.

"when" the "time was right".

UPDATE: Operation Riverside Vanguard Status - SUCCESS

Operation Riverside Vanguard was supplemented with patriots from the U.C. Riverside College Republicans, Cal State University San Bernardino College Republicans, members from the Murrieta-Temecula Republican Assembly club and from FreeRepublic.com (approximately 20 patriots in all.)

In addition, an active-duty Marine with his mother and wife stood alongside the Protest Warriors and patriots. The Marine, in his dress blue uniform, stood behind a banner which read "I Served For You"

The PWs met a hostile crowd of approximately 120 assorted Marxists, radical peace activists, anarchists and Che Guevara wannabes. The angry crowd regularly fell into mindless chants of "Impeach Bush" and other knee-jerk leftist slogans to the beat of bongo drums.

PWs and college republicans used a variety of signs to counter the leftists, including the all too familiar PW sign "...War Has Never Solved Anything" and the anti U.N. PW signs. A Cal State college republican carried a signed that read "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder" with a superimposed photo of Howard Dean strangling a cat while doing his "Dean Scream."

A PW wearing a Saddam Hussein rubber mask with a jailbird striped uniform carried two distinct signs reading: GEORGE W. BUSH...Took My Job! Murdered My Sons! Left Me Homeless! Threw Me In Jail!" and "CINDY SPEAKS FOR ME TOO! The Coalition of Genocidal Tyrants In Solidarity With Cindy Sheehan"

A Che Guevara wannabe briefly attempted to take away a sign from the PW "Saddam" and broke off part of the sign stick. Later on, other RAPJA leftists attempted to block the PW "Saddam" from the public's view by surrounding him and obstructing his signs with their "tolerant" and "diverse" messages of "peace."

For the Protest Warriors, these incidents were only small speedbumps on the path to victory.

The tactics attempted by the leftists of RAPJA only illustrated their sheer frustration at having Protest Warriors expose the fallacies of their positions. In no time, these left-wing radicals were reduced to shouting four letter words and frothing from their mouths.

It was a busy but productive night for Protest Warriors and other freedom loving patriots in the Inland Empire. Bravo zulu!
