what is peace??? SELFISH VAINITY!!

Posted on 09/24/2005 7:49:01 PM PDT by lonster

today during the blathering bush bash in d.c. in noticed a tee shirt worn by that disgrace cindy sheehan claiming her wish for peace. i would like her or one of her inane sycophants to explain how peace is possible.

how does peace happen??? is peace paid for, or does the peace fairy smack us with a star on a stick???

peace comes from strength, not from appeasment. live it, learn it, love it!!!

Achieving peace in our time is easy as pie - you don your burkha and figure out which way faces Mecca.

I give you a 10 for the sentiment...but a 2 for the spelling...Spell check is your friend!

Nope. Scores who have are car-bombed every week in Iraq. You can't even surrender to nutjobs, you fight or they kill you.

I agree. Though it is a shame that some folks cannot configure a sentence.

Most of us here, were taught to understand puncuation and the use of the shift key when initiating a sentence. Or, as Rush would say, "For those in Rio Linda."

LOL

There used to be a poster, long since banned, who was a failed guitar man from Dripping Dick TX or maybe it was Dripping Springs TX. His screen name was Demidog although he was sometimes referred to euphemistically as Demidolt. He was particularly ascerbic and I thought maybe you were Demidog reincarnated under a new screen name.

I was in Vietnam in 68-69-70 for peace; you're right, peace is earned, not granted by some divine spirit.

yeah, my grammar and spelling are both deplorable. probably more from indifference than anything else. however, it might be considered sagacious to check one's own spelling before pointing out others errors.

Only the dead have seen the end of war. As for liberals, they're only for peace when one of their favorite dictators has been thrown out of power.

no problem. just a little humor. nothing but bad events today in washintong and in the gulf. i'm just trying to find something to laugh about and i'm waiting for the quick response in the gulf during the latest hurricane to be used by the racist morons against bush this time. one can't learn from events, it has to be politcial yaknow. who's going to be the first to bring it up? dean, jackson, sharpton or the black caucaus??

"peace comes from strength, not from appeasment. live it, learn it, love it!!!"

I agree. BTW, I don't care about spelling and grammar errors, it is your sentiment that matters. :-)

Thank You to your Dad for serving our great country.
