I was watching the MSM coverage of the Murrah Building - all day long as I was home with a toddler and an infant at the time. I kept switching back and forth between the 3 networks and I remember well how the story changed in the first few hours - first 3 people... finally ending with McVeigh's capture and him being indicted alone. It was that day that I "woke up" and realized the MSM indeed lies at times. It was quite a shocking day and I remember thinking to myself how could they ignore what they just reported and buy the officials' bait hook line and sinker! I was 23 at the time, and I was still under the illusion that the stuff I'd learned in journalism class about integrity, being un-biased, questioning all sources, and getting to the bottom of the story was followed by ALL reporters.
I am also somewhat familiar with Waco and Ruby Ridge. In fact, I found the book "No More Wacos: What's Wrong With Federal Law Enforcement and How to Fix It -- by David B. Kopel, Paul H. Blackman" at a library sale a couple months back and just read through it - fascinating stuff in there. I've read other reports as well as talked to others who have investigated it in depth and there is so much that's not spoken of. Even if it is to try and debunk theories I think they should at least consider the possibilities in all of these events! Of course, then they would find that most of it is the truth...
It's sickening really the way this stuff has all come about and how much the average American is oblivious to - perhaps that is a good thing though in a way. Some people (most) have a hard time taking the "red pill" - survival mechanism I guess. Part of me wishes I could go back to the days when I was blissfully ignorant but it's like they say - you can't turn back time.

It is a pity that Clinton and his minions sought to make political hay out of incidents which should have met with reprisal, just another part of the legacy.
His apologists in the MSM did diddley squat to make the American people aware of the significance of the events you listed, and helped whitewash things all too often.

Interesting that after the explosion in Norman on SATURDAY, an unknown Homeland Security official called his kids on MONDAY and told them to stay off the NYC Subways for the NEXT TWO WEEKS until the plot is stopped. And the NYC press doesn't go public with the plot until THURSDAY.

"I got this email forwarded to me on Tuesday (10/4/05) from a coworker. I sent it on to Snopes and some other NYC Bloggers as a potential hoax. Look who's not laughing now.
I do not send out mass emails as games or jokes so PLEASE take this seriously. As some of you know my father works for HomelandSecurity, at a very high position and receives security briefings on a daily basis. I received a call from him Monday Oct 3, 2005 and it was a brief call and did not contain a lot of details. The only information that I can pass on is that everyone should at all costs not ride the subway for the next 2 weeks in the major areas of NYC, that means Grand Central, Times Square, Herald Square, Union Square areas. I know that seems crazy but do take his advice if at all possible. I am not at will or able to discuss anything more than that.
