I can find almost nothing on this story. If there's not an opportunity to point to failure by the authorities it doesn't look like news to most editors. That's the whole point of modern journalism.

FWIW, another article:
HERE
In my opinion, if it was a suicide that used a bomb, isn't it by definition a suicide bombing?

Thanks! I think the cell phones were shut down. First game I have attended in years that no one got a call after the blast, and instant messages with just the score did not get out. All of a sudden in the 4th quarter all of our cell phones went off that we had messages. They all went off at the same time too. That's when the lady behind us received the call from her sister-in-law who had been trying to get in touch with her.State and/or Feds had their jamming systems on to prevent bombs going off by cell phone remote control. Blocks all othee cell phone usage.

That's why some news outlets refer to that sort of
terrorist as a "homicide bomber".
This may yet be just a suicide bomber,
unless we hear that he recently changed
his name to Mohammed M. Mohammed.

Lessee, KFOR reports it as an "individualized suicide", wow, that's quite a parsing of words isn't it? I thought all suicides were "individual" (or individualized in KFOR's lexicon). That's why I prefer the label "Homicide bomber" when others are killed along with the suicidal maniac, words mean things...as KFOR apparently knows.

That is interesting. Sounds like a good and quick response by those in charge. Very good.

No, no, that is an awful phrase that doesn't express these situations at all. If someone plants a bomb somewhere and it kills people that person is a "homicide bomber" even if they themselves are not killed in the blast. I prefer the term "suicide murderer" although it doesn't describe the weapon used. So, I think we will have to stick with "suicide bomber".

Packed stadium, suicide terroist bombing.

Media hysterically reports hurricanes for weeks on end, hysterically reports on Holloway for months on end, and they keep this as quiet as it is?

News reports said a 2nd bomb was exploded by officials at the scene. I assume they mean at the car the bomber was driving.
1 bomb may be construed as a method of suicide, but 2 bombs are a signal of something more sinister and deliberate.
Officials would have told us 9-11 was an airplane off course and accidentally hitting the WTC had it not been for that 2nd plane coming in on national TV and quickly followed by that 3rd plane hitting the Pentagon and that fourth plane crashing in Pennsylvania.
I repeat: Shoebomber Reid was 'no sign of terrorism' until that story couldn't be contained and it was revealed he was heavily into an al-Qaeda like cell. The WDC sniper(s) was the same, until they discovered Mohammad was steeped in TROP. Officials try to keep the masses ignorant -- by design.

And from what she described, it was a pretty hefty expolosion. Not some cheesy pipe bomb. from the norman transcript:
One person who responded to the scene said she heard the blast from four miles away.

Here is what you do with a very long thread that you don't want to read but you are looking for information. Start at the last post and scroll up thru it until you see a piece of information that begins to answer your questions and then go directly to the post that is being quoted.
