Now answer my question: Can you tell me that Harriet is the most qualified person out there?
Nobody can. I wish people would just settle down. No one knows how she is going to vote. Some people just arent happy unless they are b*tching about something. The turn this board has taken in the last 24 hours is just pathetic..
All of those are necessary qualifications.
Ergo: Harriet is the most qualified.
Quod Erat Demonstrandum
The Constitution does not require the President to appoint the most qualified person available. IMHO she has about the same qualifications as Rehnquist, except that she didn't go to a "Top 10" law school like Harvard, Yale, or Stanford. BFD. The left and their partners in the MSM are constantly screaming out for more diversity, but when the President appoints someone to the SCOTUS who doesn't fit the traditional profile (Ivy League or the First Cousins; extensive experience as a trial and/or appellate litigator; and a sitting judge) they complain that she isn't qualified to sit on the bench. Let's see what she has to say before we rush to judgment. And I wil say this again: Interpreting our Constitution and Federal statutes and regulations is not all that difficult if you stick to the words as written rather than trying to find some hidden meaning to advance a leftwing -- or rightwing -- agenda.
What about you makes you qualified to decide?
